Pretty flat and overly sweet - Raul ain't feelin' this one. Like the Exxon Valdez tearing into a rocky, shallow shore, Raul ain't too pumped on it..

Now, let's not be too harsh. It's ok, but it's just so darn boring that Raul would rather watch an episode of The Hills with his baby mama than drink another one of these thangs - think about that, my children.

Again, it's palatable, but so is my baby mama's mother in law after a few dabs of bubble kush.

I tried this at the Bottle Logic brewery, on tap.

A: Very dark with a thick head.

S: Fairly standard stout smell, rich and dark.

T: A very rich stout flavor with medium sweetness and minimal bitterness. If you like your milk stouts sweet, you'll probably love this.

F: Thick and creamy.

O: Very nice flavor, minimal bitterness, and the sweetness was very noticeable but not overwhelming. I would strongly recommend this if you like your milk stouts sweet and full bodied.

On tap at Bottle Logic Brewing in Anaheim, CA.

Pours an opaque black with a foamy dark khaki head that settles to a film on top of the beer. A foamy curtain of lace coats the glass on the drink down. Smell is of dark roasted malt, cocoa, and lactose aromas. Taste is much the same with cocoa and lactose flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of roast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a nice balance between the cocoa and lactose all around.
