Notes:
We teamed up with our fellow excavationists at Horus Aged Ales to uncover a White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut Cookie-inspired relic!
This American Strong Ale was brewed with macadamia nut flour, lactose, and cocoa butter before fermentation, aged in bourbon barrels, then filtered through more than one hundred pounds of macadamia nuts for their creamy, sweetly rich character. Brown sugar base notes from caramelized malt melt into the soft flavors of oak and Madagascar vanilla beans for a perfect sip of fresh-baked nostalgia.

500 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Pours cloudy amber brown with a thick creamy off-white head
Nose: Caramel, bourbon, vanilla, and macadamia nuts.
Taste: Pretty much follows the nose. Vanilla, bourbon, white chocolate, and macadamia nuts. Little to no alcohol presence, moderately sweet finish.
Feel: Extremely smooth, medium body, crazy drinkable for the abv.

Pours a red-hued, dark rusty brown color. The head bubbles up to a finger length of ivory foam that settle slowly. The lace is thin but even, expecting heavier cling as it warms.
Sweet molasses, caramel, and toffee come off the nose first. Quickly followed up by oak and bourbon, I also pick out very apparent milk chocolate and burnt sugar in the finish.
Big, sweet, and boozy. A complex strong ale, I’d expect nothing less from a Stasis beer. Sweet caramel and milk chocolate combat a strong oak-influenced bourbon barrel presence throughout. Those macadamia nuts are much more prevalent in the flavor, and this nutty, slightly bitter flavor perfectly compliments the trifecta of bitter/nutty, sweet, creamy caramel, and oakey, boozy bourbon. Very good, can’t wait to see how it warms.
Medium carbonation works very well with an incredibly creamy, sticky finish. A noticeable booziness is present and leaves its mark with a nice warmth. Loving the mouthfeel on this.

Second beer I had at the brewery in Anaheim and it does indeed taste like a bourbon soaked macadamia nut cookie. I did not care for the flavor at all, cloyingly sweet but it did taste as advertised. These pastrybeers suck.

Thanks to whomever was kind enough to send this to me via a big box of beer. I haven’t forgotten our time together…OK, I have. 500ML bottle split 75/25 with my wife.
The pour is dark ruby red; minimal head. The nose is near entirely nuts. I mean I like nuts, but I ain’t not squirrel.
Staff of Asir is at least a +3 staff with a dexterity bonus. Yeah, I mostly traded for this due to my long-forgotten background as an All-Star DM. Bourbon up front, nuts running rampant underneath dominate. Soft vanilla covers the mid-palate before the nuts reassert themselves. Glad I split this.
Underwhelming. Nice barrel, but one would have to be a chipmunk to really appreciate this liquid. Pretty good brew.
