Brewed with lactose and a chewy, brown sugar-baked-good malt bill, aged in bourbon barrels for over a year, and then finished with cacao nibs and enough roasted peanuts to drop a ship out of hyperspace.

Peanut butter and chocolate to the nose. Peanut butter upfront followed bourbon, cookie dough, and finishing with dark chocolate.

2020 vintage poured from a 500mL bottle into a snifter. pours a shiny black with a thin layer of dark brown foam. aromas of chocolate cookies and bourbon with the slightest hint of peanuts. it’s very cocoa forward in the nose and on the taste. i get a straight chocolate chip cookie on the taste. more a peanut butter flavor as it warms and opens up but it’s a light peanut flavor and it works so well. medium-full mouthfeel. it’s not thin, but it’s not goopy or sludgy either, which makes it all the easier drinking for 13%. very much enjoyed this. was worried it might be a little past its prime with the adjunct additions but this is drinking fantastically. i didn’t find it overly sweet. it was super hot from the bourbon barrels. the adjuncts are still there. wish i had another!

500 mL bottle. Viscous black. No head. Bourbon, peanut butter, alcohol. Tastes of chocolate, lots of bourbon, peanut butter, oaky and nutty finish. Heavy, low carbonation, very sweet. Tasty if tough to drink.

On tap at King’s Beer and Wine in Phoenix, AZ.
This one pours a dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like caramelized brown sugar, chocolate chunk cookies, vanilla, roasty peanut butter, and bourbon.
This isn’t quite as bold as some of the biggest BL stouts, but it’s well built with no flaws that I can detect. It does a good job at approximating chocolate peanut butter chunk cookies, with mostly dark chocolate fudge and some brown sugar/caramel notes, along with fairly light barrel notes. The peanut butter is pretty subtle here, but adds a nice little touch.
This is creamy, and medium bodied - definitely not a thick beer but it’s not thin either. There’s no real booziness to it.
This may get a little lost in the fold of the many BA stouts this brewery releases, but I still enjoyed it. It was a bit more subtle than some of their other stouts.

Tar black, this has a stunning yet too quick to die dark brown fizzy head that vanishes into a bubbling midnight swamp surface.
Aroma is toasted peanut butter cookie with a bit of coconut barrel character that combines with the chocolate to actually create a seducing cookies and cream smell.
Taste is very assertive, peppery and spicy of whiskey, so much so that I have to wait until it goes down for the exhale to bring up all the yumyums. The wait is rewarding, as the exhale is all the cookies. I mean from cookie crumbs, to chocolate chip cookies to peanut butter cookies and everything in between, it's really quite remarkable. At subsequent visits, Just before the swallow, a deep dark vanilla character persists throughout, striking me as Oreo cream, while the exhale continues the dark vanilla thread with a bit of barrel char.
In the middle palate, and even up front, this is one of the hotter BL beers I've ever had. They usually exercise a deft hand on the booze, often showcasing an expert subtlety with these barrel aged behemoths exceeding 13% ABV, but here it immediately stings up front, with a warming burn all the way down. This persistently aggressive heat makes it very difficult to really taste the beer while it's in your mouth. The middle palate rounds up, seeming to almost lift into a thicker feel, but it's overall slick to start, dying into a crisp tingly fizz that comes to sharply semi-dry finish.
Perhaps a few months in the cellar will do it some good.

Medium black with brown light speckling and collar. Peanut butter cookie with warm bourbon and chocolate with kisses of vanilla and toasty oak round out the smell. Tastes as it smells, but let this warm up, bourbon depth integrates wonderfully with the peanuts and chocolate to give the profile a warm depth, vanilla and oak are present but reduced compared to nose, decadent fudge and molasses settle in. Feel is warm, chewy, viscous, full yet still not massively heavy, sweetness is a perfect level and complimentary to the booziness. Best BA pb stout I have had in a long time. The wife liked it

Poured from bottle into glass. Virtually no head/carb. Medium viscosity legs on the glass. Smell is all peanuts. Taste is also dominated by peanut, followed subtlety by chocolate. Mouthfeel is rich and chewy.
Overall: this might be the best Bottle Logic Stasis beer I've had so far! BL nailed this one on the head with what they were going for - a peanut butter / chocolate chip cookie stout. flavors come out very nicely - but the mouthfeel of this one is what really sets it apart for me - rich and chewy. Great beer!
