A: The beer is very hazy yellowish amber in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a patch of bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge.
S: Light to moderate aromas of strawberries are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of strawberries along with notes of vanilla and hints of herbal hops.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit smooth and creamy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This Milkshake IPA has an interesting contrast with the hints of herbal hops in the taste countering the strawberries and cream.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 3/12/2020. Pours opaquely hazy/cloudy deep reddish orange/amber color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of steaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy strawberries, mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, strawberry, lactose, vanilla, and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big juicy strawberries, mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of strawberries, mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, strawberry, lactose, vanilla, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop/fruit astringency after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky/resinous/rindy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.1%, or lingering hop burn after the finish. Overall this is an awesome fruited milkshake IPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, strawberry, lactose, vanilla, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish; nicely soft and not aggressive. Awesome Loral/Mosaic profile. Very juicy/vibrant hops/fruit with some dank/earthy notes; and a nice sized vanilla, lactose, and wheat/oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressively well made style example.

16 oz can from Boise Co-op. Orange golden, peach nectar, small cap of head. Aroma is light strawberry ice cream. Taste brings more of the vanilla out, light strawberry, and the lactose adding a nice silky feel. A light numbing bitterness lingers. This has summer written all over it.

16oz can into my Hill Farmstead tulip - this is marketed as a Milkshake IPA, and I just had a really good one so my hopes are high for this one.

A: Looks like a sunrise mimosa; hazy but not turbid, well carbed, but the head is thin as is the lacing.

S: Pretty big vanilla & strawberry character on the nose, lactose as well for sure. Underlying orange and citrus fruits. Upfront the vanilla and lactose makes you think graham cracker almost?

T: Lots of outlying vanilla character with a smaller dose of strawberry than the smell. Mosaic starts to arrive with some hop fruit character that dives off into an almost catty note, which is odd for Mosaic, I get it. Not overly sweet.

MF: Fairly creamy, lighter medium body.

O: Doesn't quite do it for me, the smell is OK but the palate doesn't hold up from start to finish.
