Lots of taps but some pretty standard stuff. Also tasted a little old. Great atmosphere though with the tvs. I would say it's a high level dive and I say that in the most positive way.

Great seacoast location. East to find. Decent selection. Really awesome staff.

The Portsmouth branch of the Craft Beer Cellar chain opened just a few weeks ago (January 2014), and the location is nice - on the outskirts of commercial Portsmouth but actually easier to get to than places downtown if you're driving through. Parking is pretty ample. The beer selection is decent, as NH is slowly bringing in more labels every month. Inventory is laid out well with plenty of options also chilled in a row of coolers. Solid glassware selection as well. Service was friendly and attentive. My one complaint about this place is the fact that the sun comes glaring through the windows on a large portion of the inventory. I can only hope that screens or shades are on order, because right now I would assume that most of their Belgian bottles are light-struck, as they are in direct sunlight all afternoon. Kind of a big oversight, in my opinion.
