16 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 4/7/2017. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big juicy apricots, peach, pineapple, pear, wheat, cracker, toasted biscuit, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance of bready malt, apricots, and moderate earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy apricots, peach, pineapple, pear, wheat, cracker, toasted biscuit, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness and slight fruit tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of apricot, peach, pineapple, pear, wheat, cracker, toasted biscuit, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great robustness and balance of bready malt, apricots, and moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from lingering bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.6%. Overall this is a great fruit wheat beer! All around great robustness and balance of bready malt, apricots, and moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. Pretty much perfectly balanced between fruit and wheat beer flavors. Just a tad on the bitter side for the style, but I have no complaints otherwise. Very authentic fruit flavors. A very enjoyable offering.

Taste: stone fruit non sweet peach skins, some citrus bite, slight wheat &honey, fresh airy mouth feel with tart finish. Big fresh peach fruit nose. Golden hue, slight haze, white head and nice lattice of lace. Medium body. Great for summer. 10 IBUs

I picked up a bottle of Gonzo's Biggdogg's Porch Appeal last week for $2.59 at The Lager Mill. It's been awhile since I've had a peach beer and I'm interested to see how this one turns out, so lets see how it goes. 2017 Vintage. Poured from a tall 16oz can into into a imperial pint glass.

A- The label looks good, it has a nice look to it that goes well with the name and it's a little eye catching. It poured a golden amber color that took on a little more of a golden hue when held to the light and it had a little over a fingers worth of slightly creamy off white head that died down to a thin ring that stayed till the end and it left just a little bit of spotty lacing behind. This is a nice looking beer, but I wish the head and lacing were just a little better.

S- The aroma starts off with a higher amount of medium sweetness with a big peach aroma being the first to show up and it imparts a nice peach juice like aroma that seems to dominate. Up next comes the malts, they are pretty light and only impart a little grainy, wheat and sweet malt like aromas with just a slight doughy aroma coming through. The aroma is nice, but it's pretty unbalanced and I wish the wheat ale base showed up a little more.

T- The taste seems to be fairly similar to the aroma and it starts off with a medium amount of sweetness with the peach still being the first to show up, but this time it isn't as juicy and it has more of a green fruit and unripened fruit flavor that goes into the malts which are pretty much just as light as they were in the aroma. On the finish there's lower amount of medium bitterness with just a little bit of sweetness and it had a peach and unripened fruit aftertaste. This is a decent tasting beer, but I wish the taste was more like the aroma and it would be nice if the finish was a little more sweet and a little less bitter.

M- A little smooth, fairly crisp, slightly creamy, medium bodied with a slightly lower amount of medium carbonation. The mouthfeel is nice, but it could be a little smoother.

Overall I thought this was a decent beer and I thought it was just a little above average for the style, it wasn't bad, but it didn't help that the wheat ale base didn't show up and the peach aspects that were there weren't as great as they were in the aroma. This beer has ok drinkability, one glass is enough for me. What I like the most about this beer is the aroma, it was nice and it was the highlight of this beer. What I like the least about this beer is the taste, it needs some work and it's not as clean and refreshing as it could be. I don't think I would buy this beer again, it was nice to try, but it isn't something that I feel the need to revisit anytime soon.. I don't think I would recommend this one, it's not too hard to find a better peach beer. All in all this beer was just ok and it still needs some more to get to where it needs to be. It's not a favorite beer from this brewery and it's pretty close to being average for the style. Better luck next time guys, this one could use a little more work.
