Pours into an impy nonic a dull light to medium golden with a large fluffy/sticky white crown that leaves multiple broken rings of lace behind as it settles slowly.Resinious and grapefruit hops mixed with mild coffee roast and light caramel sweetness.A really nice shot of grapefruit rind and pine hits ya from the get go on the palate, then the coffee roasted notes come in but not to heavy just making for real nice balance.Everything comes together pretty well,Iam starting to like these coffee "infused" IPA's out there.

Picked up a 750 ml bottle from TW Arrowhead in mid-January for $6.99 (marked down from $10.99). No bottling date visible - must be older if being discounted.

Beer poured golden with a nice white head that is leaving lacing behind.

Nose is coffee forward and citrus hops.

Taste is a nice blend of coffee, citrus, and hints of tropical hops.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and somewhat refreshing.

Overall this is an interesting brew that is a nice blend of coffee and citrus. This is such an interesting and somewhat unique style - check it out if you come across it!

Shared with Dave C with dinner at his house.
Bottle to Nose is coffee, hops. Taste is malty with a hoppy aftertaste fighting through.

Late in I-95 Draft, shared with Dave S; bottle to Goblet. I think I enjoyed it more this second time. Coffee and hops are usually mutually exclusive, but I think they kind of mellow each other out. Still not outstanding, but a very interesting beer from Flying Fish.

750ml capped bottle

hazy golden color, white head, good lacing. aroma is a mix of earthy hops and coffee. oddly, the mix works. taste is similar. minimal malt flavor gets in the way. slick mouthfeel, a little sticky.
