My first review!

Appearance : Dark bar, dark beer. Not much to see, although it looks a little browner and not as much black for a ris. No head

Smell: Burnt coffee, in a good way. Nice roastiness that you want in a stout. Burnt caramel and dark chocolate.

Taste: Lots of coffee. Dark fruits and a dose of pepper. Coffee lingers with you throughout the sip and stays long after the swallow. Full roasty flavors. Very good.

Mouthfeel: Way thicker than it looks. I don't want a ris that is too thin and this beer is right on the money! Full, thick and sticky mouthfeel...Excellent!

Overall:"I'll take a growler to go please!"

On tap at Finback Taproom's opening day.

A - pours a syrupy, deep brown with a quarter inch Brown head

S - coffee malt goodness

T - coffee, chocolate, maple syrup, oats.

M - syrupy yet well carbonated

O - better than Stone EIRS but not better than BCBCS. PHENOMENAL brew.
