Drank within a week of it being canned; this is extremely fresh.
Look: Very similar to orange juice; pours a thick, completely opaque, deep yellow/orange with a dense, one and a half finger head of foam. Head retention is below average; leaves no lacing.
Aroma: Slightly spicy pine needles and bitter grapefruit peel. Sweet and slightly tart aroma of tangerines and pineapple. A little bit of herbal lemon verbena - even some notes of honey and granola.
Taste: Wow... finback never ceases to impress me. Very very complex. Upfront there is a gentle, bitter contrast of lemon verbena and spruce; it goes hand in hand with juicy, but not overtly saccharine flavors of tropical guava, orange and baked, brown sugar glazed pineapple. Softly and gently transitions into velvety flavors of honey drizzled over granola, before petering out into mellow flavors of papaya and tangerine. Delicate notes of condensed cream on the very back end.
Feel: Moderately carbonated. Mid/heavy body (a 7 on a scale of 10 in terms of weight). Very supple and extremely creamy, but still with enough effervescence to prevent it from being flat or insipid. 6.2%abv is undetectable.
Overall: As I said; I'm always impressed by finback. This beer is no exception. I like the weight on this and how the flavor develops very slowly over the course of every sip. Very happy I tried this.

I mean, it’s fine. I suppose. But so was Donald Duck orange juice when Raul was a little tyke. Yeah, straight up - did a brewery make this beer, or Walt Disney? Cuz I feel like after drinking it I should hit a Slip ‘n’ Slide. Where are the real beers at?
See ya.

Canned 10-17-18 into 16oz IPA
L: Orange creamsicle. Very hazy.. little head or lacing.
S: Well, I would say mango.. but that's not all. It's an orange delight.
T: Mirrors the smell. There was a faint pine flavor.. turning back to mango.
F: Full.. smooth. Light carbonation or bitterness. A good bit of juiciness throughout.
O: I'll have another!
