16oz tallboy can, sample from the brewery.

A great looking IPA, smells of a tropical fruit salad and bready undertones and fruity esters as well. Bitterness is wrapped in a melon rind and orange pith flavor. A bit of green tea, nutmeg, peppercorn, and golden raisin on the palate. Sufficient hop bitterness is met by a pale easy going maltiness. There is balance here and this brew is quite drinkable. Something I'd love to revisit for sure.

Tall can-"Pizza Rules 9/19/2016" on the bottom

lighter haze to the lighter almond amber liquid. Frothy off white cap, lasting, and leaving gobs of sheeting and lace all the way up the glass.

Fruit juicy sniff, with ripe melon coming first to mind

On the palate its more and moretropical fruit juicy goodness, with notes of again, melon, then pineapple, ripe mango...love the style and this one hits its target....More high quality brew from Queens, NY's Finback

16oz. can into a Surly teku.

Beer pours hazy but less so than other offerings in the style. Nose is juicy. Hints of pear, kiwi and melon. Aromatic. Beer opens sweet melon and kiwi. Loads of tropical fruit but not the papaya, mango, passionfruit and citrus I'm used to. Malt body is smooth and bready with very little hop presence to balance things out. A NE IPA through and through. Light bodied with moderate to ample carbonation. Goes down super smooth with a juicy, quenching aftertaste. So quaffable!

I've said it once and I'll say it again. Every hoppy offering that I have from these guys gets better and better. I'm of the opinion that they're making the best IPAs in New York and they're not that far off from what's being produced in MA, VT and ME!

On-tap 10/16/2016 at Natty Greene’s Tavern in North Attleboro, MA, served in a tulip glass.

A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a short off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains fruity citrus, grassy hops and caramelized malts.

T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of citrus and caramel. Then a strong but not over-powering hops bitterness comes in. The malt character is hearty and provides a good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.

M: Crisp and very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.

O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a solid IPA to drink for a long time.

Orange, tangerine, grapefruit zest and creamsicle. Light and creamy. Nice sweetness to bitter balance. Easy drinking and floral. Somewhat light on flavor, but it's still delicious. Good stuff.

Whitish cloudiness on a straw colored brew. One-finger head initially but it dies to a thin film of bubbles. There are a couple of streaks for lace.

Clean, very pale malt aroma initially. There's a definitive floral hop nose, but the overall effect is quite mild.

Strong palest of malts beginning flavor with notable alcohol. Strangely sweet with overtones of pineapple and other tropical fruits. The hop is strong but it doesn't bite, leaving a balanced finish and short aftertaste. Very full-bodied with a moderate level of carbonation. Overall, an interesting and unusual (in a good way) brew.
