Excited for a new Finback sour. Only really had tastes at the brewery awhile ago and I feel like everyone is getting onto them lately.
Cloudy looking for what is supposed to be a gose. A dark pale gold color is the best I can sum it up with.
The nose is quite fruity for a lime driven beer, and also a fair scent of sour funk. This smells a lot more sour than a run of the mill gose to me.
A lot of lime flavor, and maybe some sour green apple tinges as well. It's fairly straightforward and fairly well done.
The first thing I feel is a super clean, super refined sourness. Finback does an excellent job with making sour beers as crisp as possible so the flavors shine through. The citric character of the limes is refreshing and has just enough sourness.
Another awesome one from Finback. I feel like Gose is a style that is finally being super well done in spite of it being mega trendy as well lately. This is an absolutely high tier one.
