16 oz can, procured at Brew and Co, in Bedford, NY

Pours heavily hazed, light tangerine, super light n tiny bubble off white cap, leaves a nice looking fine film, collar and then bands of again light and airy high rings of lacing, very nice looking beer.

Sniff is of lemons n limes, white pepper, ripe tropical fruits...nice

More of the same on the palate, light tropical fruits, light pepper, yeasty, light ginger....delicious...one of my favorites from FB

another thick and frothy east coast style big ipa from these guys, and another winner! this one looks and feels like it might be wheat based, paler in color and more textured than some of the others i have had. its malty in flavor, cerealy and earthy, but it isnt sweet. its an excellent base for all these hops, and the kind of malt character i like in this style, not the crystal malt richness, but with just as much influence. the hops are killer in here, not sure which are at work, but i get fresh pineapple, intense grapefruit, and an oily profile i associate much more with west coast style ipa than with these cloudy dry hop bombs, an awesome feature here. some other tropical notes too, passion fruit maybe, white grape sweetness, and a zesty citrus rind quality, a bit more bitter in the end than some of their others too. its got a lot of body and a long lingering intense hoppy finish despite not being sweet, and overall its a rather substantial beer for how juicy it is. this is the finback wheelhouse, big dry hoppy ipa types, they havent missed on one in my experience! cool to see this on tap in colorado! i hope they start sending some stuff out this way with some regularity!

Canned date 8/23. Poured to Birrateque IPA 18OZ Glass on 9/15.
A:Light orange and hazy colour. about 3 fingers of cloud.
S:Peach, pine and pineapple aroma.
T:Peach first and follow tropical fruit such as mango. Sweetness as well as bitterness are mild.
M:A little bit creamy, smooth, weak carbo.
O:Does not feel this has 8.2% ABV, This is fine. No hops and malts do not insist strong character.
But great balance of the NEIIPA. Soft feel but quit solid IPA. At the later stage, become creamy.

Medium-pale gold body with a light haze, few fingers of white head on top, lace arms trailing down the glass... Brewed and dry hopped with 007, Citra, Centennial, El Dorado, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops, this beer presents an incredible flavor and aroma profile, laden with soft fruit notes, sweet floral impressions, and succulent juices, all couched in a fluffy, almost airy body - so light and gentle, it drinks terribly fast... A real stunner.

Canned 8/23. Glass: Tulip. Pours a golden yellow straw color, full on haze without being full on turbid a la OH/TH. Nice fluffy white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is nice but a bit subtle, tropical fruit vibes taking the forefront with a bit of floral hops in the background. Taste follows with big but balanced tropical fruit (papaya, passion fruit, pineapple esp.), mellow citrus (tangerine, clementine), and just a hint of pine from the Centennial. Mouthfeel is smooth and luscious without being overly thick/heavy. Bitterness incredibly low for 8.2%—drinks like a 6 percenter. Very well balanced for how many hop varieties they stuffed into this brew. Super easy drinking. Another success from Finback, who IMO have been slaying the game (the past couple months especially).

Candied orange peel, ripe mango, lemon and tangerine. Cracker malt profile. Clean tasting. Perfectly balanced, nice amount of sweetness. Lighter bodied. Floral. Dry, semi bitter finish. Pretty solid brew.

This cloudy yellow-orange can pour with a 2 cm foam cap has a richly tropical aroma. Prominent flavors are mango, grapefruit and some banana-like esters too. The hop bitterness is moderate and persistent. The mouthfeel is very smooth (wheat?). The relatively high abv is undetectable. This is a very pleasant NE style IPA.
