Pours a cloudy light-medium red color, like a glass of ruby red grapefruit juice. Fantastic raspberry aroma. Flavor is predominately juicy raspberry, a touch sour offset by a nice dose of sweetness. Tart with slight acidity, carbonation is like champagne - micro. Overall a nice raspberry sour, didn’t notice the grapefruit, like the low abv.

a tasty and jammy raspberry sour with a really natural and genuine fruit profile to it, but its really nothing special overall, good as it is, its samey and doesnt stand out to me the way so many of the finback beers do, but its cool they have sent some kegs out to colorado for gabf this week, and i hope this is the first of many that i get the chance to drink around town! a real pretty pink color on this, rose colored, with a short but airy white head. it looks a little frosted, and has an aroma of tangy fresh raspberries, very real fruit to me, mouthwatering, but not overly acidic it doesnt seem, a lemon note, bacterial and probably done in the kettle. the flavor is simple, i dont get much from the grain at all, although there is some decent body here, its all about the raspberries, which are really prominent, a little sweet, and tangy right along with the lacto tartness. fresh and flavorful, well carbonated too, like a soda more than a beer though for most of it, some bretty funk or more significant grain contribution would round this out a little better, but like all finback beer, its very high quality and professionally done overall. drinkable for a sour because the acidity is only moderate, and i like the low abv. relatively basic as these go, but very good.

16oz. can into Night Shift stemware. Shared with schen9303.

Incredible bright pink color with a matching head. Nose is raspberry and strawberry. A little foaminess with a bit of seedy bitterness. Real aromatic. Sharp. Crisp. Beer opens raspberry juice. Pulpy throughout with a seedy tartness that's aggressive at times but mellows out towards the back. The fruit presence sweetens a touch at the end before softening out at the finish. Pretty one dimensional but that dimension is pretty great. Body is light with moderate to ample carbonation. Real drinkable. Light on the palate with a slickness going down. Quenching but not quite crisp. Lingering, slightly filmy finish.

A really simple beer but sometimes that's all you need. Super raspberry-forward with a great, pungent flavor.
