Hazy amber with a thick head. Citrus nose with a little sweetness. Medium malt body, a little sweetness, mild bitterness. 7% ABV not at all present.

A- 16oz can pours into a pint glass with a mostly clear deep orange body and a small cap. The head has a frothy texture and decent retention. A few sheets of lacing with plenty of drizzle around them.
S- Citrus and pine hops are the star with quite a bit of support from the malts. Barely suggests sweetness and gives bready and sweet mash husk notes to support the orange, resinous and floral hop notes.
T- Sweet flavorful malts form the backdrop for citrus, floral and pine hops. Cereal, bready, crackery and caramel sweetness from the grains with hops bringing sweet orange, zesty grapefruit, herbal tea and the aforementioned floral and resinous pine. Very much malty.
MF- Puffy and silky smooth medium bodied IPA with a high level of carbonation bubbles. Clean moderate bitterness in the finish.
Straightforward orange, grapefruit, floral and pine hop profile with a lot of support from sweet, flavorful malts.

At first impression, a fairly standard, west-coast inspired IPA: golden straw colored, fragrant hoppy nose, subdued malt body. However, when the beer warms you might notice something interesting. It smells like strawberries!
When I say smells like strawberries, I mean EXACTLY like strawberries. Particularly, those freeze dried strawberries that sometimes come in fancy cereal like Honey Bunches of Oats. Very rarely have I had a beer whose smell reminded me so strongly of something I'd smelled before. It took me a little while to conjure up what the association was, but once I did, I became absolutely convinced that this beer had somehow managed to recreate, near-perfectly, the smell of those delicious little freeze dried cereal strawberries.
I realize this might just be some weird personal thing and your experience may be different. However, if you think Boxcutter IPA tastes like strawberries too, someone definitely told ya so.
