Excellent beer. From the first pop to the final sip this one did not disappoint the entire way through. Through each sip, this beer feels and tastes more like and IIPA instead of a traditional IPA as they call it on the front of the (beautiful) can.

(Appearance) Drank out of the can because I felt it was better that way. However I did sneak a little out to get a better idea of color and was impressed by its deep nearly orange color.

(Smell) Hops, hops, hops! At first pop I could smell it from afar, floral aromas may have been briefly present, but the hops are ever present.

(Taste) Spicy to soft. This one has some intense complexity to begin that eventually fades away to pleasant dry finish. While this is quite aromatic with its hops, it doesn't have quite the bitter bite that one would expect from the first initial sniffs.

(Mouthfeel) Smooth feel that is somewhat creamy. The finish as said before is dry but smooth and compliments the early complexities.

(Overall) Amazing IPA that I'd call more of an IIPA (from taste alone). Definitely some underlying malts that make their presence known entangled in the rich hoppiness of the beer. Definitely can't wait to try more from these guys.

Not a big rye guy, but this is nice. A bit flat, not super exciting, but pretty good. I'd like to try more from this brewer from the north (well, the north of me anyways)

Great smell. Flavor is unique. Definitely taste the rye malt. Finishes very dry.
