A good IPA however the taste kind of has a chemical flavor to me initially but that feeds fairly quickly to the bitterness. Light amber color kind of like straw with a decent had a nice lacing.

Not much on the eyes or the nose, but wow what a great tasting beer ... A bit dank but yummy ... Fine example of a beverage that can fool you based upon its appearance ... Another thumbs up for this fine Brewer

The pour reveals a murky, dark-straw colored, head that is lightly tanned.
Aromas are dank, juicy hops - citrus, mango, pineapple, which is in line with the Citra/Mosaic hop combo. I'm literally salivating. The taste follows the aromas, but there's a slightly boozy component that diminishes this a bit.
The mouthfeel, though, is excellent - enough of a punch so you know you're drinking a fairly big (7.0% ABV) beer, but the "oiliness" I really prefer in an IPA.
I'm glad I muled this back to Texas, because it's worth trying. Nicely done by Warped Wing.

16oz can served in a milkshake pilsner glass. Packaged 12:18:12 on 06/15/17.
Appearance: Translucent light amber. Thin dense white head with fine strands of persistent lacing.
Smell: Lots of tropical fruit and citrus smell - it practically comes off the glass as you sit near it. Mango, grapefruit, lemon.
Taste: Very hoppy and again lots of citrus. Strong grapefruit, lemon, fresh cut tropical fruit. Malt very well hidden - a little doughy/bready. Very bitter finish - mouth puckering.
Mouthfeel: Nicely thick, prickly carbonation. Quite sticky on the teeth.
Overall / Drinkability: Definitely a beer for extreme hopheads. I think a 12oz serving is enough as it's so aggressively bitter that I had trouble finishing the 16oz can. May be better paired with the right food, but I think it needs more malt to compensate for all the hops in which case it could be a really great beer. It has a lot of potential, but as is, it's far too bitter.
