Having a 10oz pour right now at the brewery ($5.00).

Jet black, completely opaque, with a thin, beige layer of bubbles, with decent lacing. Nose has a good amount of choco, mocha and bourbon. Feel is decent; medium body and fairly smooth. Wish it was thicker, fuller.

Has a solid amount of choco here, with minimal bitterness. A bit of licorice and molasses, too. Once more a smidge of mocha and some toffee, rounded out by some tasty bourbon notes. A solid BA RIS... Prosit!!

This beer pours a dark black color with a light tan head.
The nose is covered by a dark chocolate overtone and some of the barrel aging following and a mild sweetness in the end.
The taste is of dark chocolate but not overwhelming the beer and the bourbon barrel aging though not as strong as some does mellow out the chocolate and produces a very smooth drinking BA Stout.
The mouthfeel to me is good I think better than the base beer which to me has a little to much carbonation when first opened.
I was lucky to be able to pick up a few bottles today and hope to see them doing more with this barrel aged stout.
How about a BA Vinatta in the future.

Pours very dark coffee color with just a bit of head.

Lots of chocolate in the smell. Distinct brownie smell. Some toasty malts and a bit of bourbon sweetness. Maple syrup?

Chocolate immediately hits the tongue. Some light sweetness from the bourbon. This is not a stout that is overwhelmed by the barrel aging, the whisky is a delicate flavor and everything is well balanced. Some coconut in the aftertaste.

This is a heavy stout with medium to light carbonation. It coats the mouth and lingers for a while.

Excellent BA stout from a brewery I'm going to need to revisit soon.

On tap at the Kelsen Anniversary Party at cask and Vine tonight.
Opaque black color with a decent tan head. Big roasty chocolate and coffee with a huge amount of sugary sweetness. Earthy hop and coconut with a bit of woody oak help to cut through the sweetness with style. Thick chewy body with a silky creamy mouthfeel and a light level of carbonation. Great Imperial stout, this was the hit of the night for me.
