Featured in Southern Living's "50 REASONS WE LOVE SUMMER IN THE SOUTH".

205 was created as a love letter to Birmingham for voting us Best Brewery. With a simple, dialed-in grain bill and the accompaniment of a generous dry hop of 100% fresh Citra hops, 205 is everything we wanted and more in a pale ale.

This beer explodes with aromas and flavors of juicy white peaches, ripe pineapple puree, fresh key lime peel zest and the slightest touch of grapefruit pith, all rounding out with a lite and crisp, low resin bitterness. It's why the term "crushable" exists.

At the brewery. Pleasantly blown away by how cool Birmingham is and this brewery and their space. I’d come here several times a week if I were a local. This beer is stellar. A top quality APA with the obvious Citra awesomeness. Well done!

12 oz can dated 12/12/19, now whether that's canned on or best by I'm not sure.
Sierra Nevada Speigelau glass.

Very pale, tainted water colored hazy body with a tall creamy cap of 3 fingers, receding to 1 with lots of lace destroying the glass.

Aromas of wet pine, fresh cut grass, slight mango, and slight watermelon. Some hints of banana bubblegum as well.

Flavor is crisp and clean, with mango, pineapple, and orange/orange pith. Nice hang time with lingering notes of Christmas Tree water and bitter mango.

Feel is crisp and slightly starchy, with some clinging resins. High carbonation, no heat.

Overall I think I like this one better than the standard IPA from Trimtab. Very tropical, light, and fruity. Not a bad beer to finish the night.

Appearance: Pours a hazed, yellow-hued body with a medium-small, white head.

Smell: Fruity Citra hops, with its citrusy, tropical, spiced bent atop the mild, muted background base maltiness.

Taste: Fairly simplistic, unassuming grain bill underneath the Citra hops bringing tastes of lime peel, white grapefruit and pineapple. Medium degree of bitterness which resides on the tongue until trailing off beyond the light finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.

Overall: A simple, straightforward ale, but, hey, you can get your hands on those Citra hops.

Poured from an undated 12 oz. can: bright and clear, golden-orange hue with a quickly dissipating white head.

The tropical fruit aromas explode from the can - brazen and bittersweet in character.

The flavor is thankfully more restrained with a very fruity entry of orange marmalade, orange zest and mango. The hop profile is nicely balanced by a warming malt in the background. This is not hugely complex but very quaffable and refreshing.

Somewhat thin in the body with zesty carbonation and a lingering bittersweet flavor on the palate.

This is a very nice choice for a warm Christmas Eve in the Florida panhandle - dry and refreshing, almost like a champagne.
