Notes: Our newest installment in our light visions series, Citra Singularity, is built with a tremendous grist bill packed with massive amounts of Flaked and Malted oats and fermented with our fruity expressive yeast strain. This hazy DIPA then gets an extreme Double Dry hop treatment with the freshest Citra hops available.

This beer exudes aromas and flavors of juicy cantaloupe and honeydew melons, ruby red grapefruit, key lime zest, all rounded out with a creamy mouthfeel and a touch of pine bitterness mixed with tropical fruit medley.

No canned on date. Released to the public on 06/19/19.

A good-looking pale gold color, opaque and with a nice quarter inch of frothy white head that rises to the brim of the glass.

The nose is great, bursting with grapefruit & tangerine, with other fruity aromas like pineapple, peach, and melon present as well. Some underlying hop influence detectable, adding a mildly grassy quality.

The citrus returns full force here, and I will first note that I definitely prefer this from the can than on tap. Similar to Helix Rising (a prior release in this series), a good amount of pineapple hits the palate, with that backbone of juicy citrus never far behind. Accompanying this is a very noticeable flavor of lychee, a fruit that has known to be a fairly common by-product of Citra as well. The hops do have more prominent flavor influence, bringing about a bitterness that is expected of the variety, but also re-introducing that nice grassiness that was present on the nose.

Smooth, fairly soft-bodied IPA. The carb is fairly sharp, but helps prevent the softness of the beer from becoming too overwhelming or full-feeling. Goes down warm, the booze nice and subtle.
