Canned 11/12/19.
Good viscosity; deep, dark pour, nearly black. Beige head rises nicely, settling into the abyss and without much lingering lace retention.
Straight creme brûlée coffee on the nose. Roasty coffee balances sweet vanilla with no deflecting bitterness or distractions.
Again retaining that sweet roast and robust coffee backbone. The molasses is present just enough to cut through the sweetness imparted by the vanilla and does well to really balance this out. Initially there was some unwanted bitterness from the coffee, but as this has time to warm and open up, I really enjoyed it.
Soft and medium-bodied. The carbonation is low, and the sweet stickiness left behind serves as a reminder that this beer was meant for dessert.
