Very tasty, funky, deep tropical fruity ipa. Not yer typical 7.7%. Not much on the backend. If it was carbonated a tad more id love this beer. (Purchased in Sebastapol and hope to seek more out soon).

Great tasting IPA. It's definitely not like your other IPAs.

Small amount of bitterness/hoppiness, strong fruity flavors. Uneventful finish, but I don't think it detracts from this brew.

Will definitely buy again.

Bottled 12/29/15.

Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. A foamy lattice of lace coats the glass on the drink down. Smell is of tropical fruit, citrus fruit, and citrus juice aromas. Taste is much the same with tropical fruit, citrus zest, and grapefruit juice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with awesome tropical and citrus hop qualities that make this one super tasty and easy to drink.

Serving type: bottle.

Beautiful big suds and the brew is sort of a golden orange color. Aroma of fresh cut apple with a touch of honey. So big and fruity. Rich, malty, flavorful. Just a modest bitterness in the aftertaste. A little yeasty in the last pour. Tight sediment in the bottom or the bottle. A great IPA with the less-crazy bitterness for a mellow sip. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Mollie Stone's Market in the Castro.

A: deep hazy orange. Gold hues

S: guava. Lemon. Dragon fruit. Slight funk. Orange peel bubblegum

T: this is really interesting. Creamy oats. Lemon peel. Pine. Grass. Curds. Very little fruit presence as others described.

F: creamy. Maybe the addition of oats. Full body. Clean finish

O: not bad but there is something strange about this Hard to explain. Worth a shot though

i can't recommend this beer more highly. This was quite the treat after travelling to visit Lagunitas Brewing and finding it to be closed (Monday and Tuesday). All of the beers were tasty and this one was especially to style. The smell was delicious and I'm still not sure how the low IBU can be possible in such a tasty beer. Well done!

Bomber bottled on 05.11.15, opened 05.25.15
Deep amber honey look, creamy head. Indistinct smell, faint pine and grass. Complex. Delicate at first; grapefruit and peach next; then long hoppy caramel walnut finish, like a move from a West Coast to an East Coast IPA. Some carbonation problems. The structure a bit of a let down after the journey of the taste. My first beer from this brewery which came highly recommended from the esteemed folks at Ledger's Liquors. Looking forward to more from them.

I had this shortly after they opened, and now I'm actually writing a review now that Im having this from the bottle. Only reason why I bought it was because they bottle date and I noticed it was just two days shy of a month old. What a bargain now that I'm drinking it at $4.49 for 22oz. It's that good.

Tropical Guava Hop Juice. Awesome & Unique nose and flavor profile.

Stacks up to all it's neighbors highly coveted beers of the same style. Very easy drinking for the ABV but my only knock is that the mouthfeel is missing something I just can't put my finger on. Knit-picky for sure as this is an AWESOME brew.
