Falliage (like foliage) is a highly aromatic Belgian Saison brewed with Vienna and Caramel malts, piquant noble hops, and our brewer’s own blend of Chai Spices including ginger, cinnamon, and allspice.
Our house Farmhouse yeast blend is used to ferment Falliage, and lends subtle notes of black pepper, dark fruits, ginger and cloves which mingle well with the caramel malt and Chai spice flavors.
Falliage was designed as an intriguing alternative to the common pumpkin spice beers that cover the shelves in Autumn, and with it we seek to expand your perception of everything you thought a fall beer could be.
Think “pecan pie while drinking a Saison Dupont”…

Pours orange brown worth minimal head and lacing. Smells of cloves, nutmeg, assorted spices along with hops and malts. Crisp, neither heavy nor light, and drinkable. A touch dry for the ABV.

Had it on tap at the brew pub. This is their fall seasonal beer and I applaud them for doing something other than a pumpkin. This one hit all the right notes for me.
L: Poured a beautiful golden color with a nice, white head
S: Lots of spice. Cinnamon, all spice, ginger...lots of great notes
T: Crisp and refreshing. Almost like a traditional pumpkin, but not quite...brighter.
F: Medium body. Beautiful, dry finih
O: Great fall beer. I like my pumpkin beers bright and spiced and this beer captures that feel but keeps it much more crisp and light the whole way through. Delicious.

On tap, a 12 oz. serving at the Federal Taphouse in Lancaster, PA. Has a golden color with a small head. Smell is mild, a bit of spice. Taste is spice, malts, a bit of funk, mild fruits. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.
