My primary thought when I look at the profile on this one is: How does a fantastic beer such as this one have only 2 reviews on BA after nearly nine years since it was introduced???? Is the distribution just terrible, or do no members feel bothered to weigh in? I see this happen with MANY great beers and it truly confuzzles me. WHY???
That said, I'm with BOTH (lol, yes just the two) reviewers that this is an awesome rye offering that gives pleasure in all aspects, well... in my pour the foam was nearly nothing, though it laces nicely when swirled. It's otherwise very pretty in the glass, smells amazing, tastes great (not less filling!!) and makes for a super wind-down after a long day, especially when it's chilly outside or inside (which in California it's often too damn cold due to the ridiculous costs to heat a home in winter, but I digress...) anyways, good job Institution Ale Co, this is a really great brew.

Copper to brown hue. Fluffy tan head sticks around for the whole drink.
Smells of peppery rye, some bitter pine with hints of grapefruit coming through.
Flavor is full rye and pine with some pithy grapefruit poking in. Finishes more spicy pine.
Mouthfeel is full and beautiful. Carbonation stays slightly active.
A damn good rye ale.

Pours a beautiful copper color with a lightly beige head. Aromas and flavors are of spicy rye wheat, grapefruit pith, pine needles and even a hint of woody earthiness. Smooth mouthfeel and a lingering aftertaste of pine and spicy rye. An excellent, excellent rye ale.
