Pours a cloudy light orange with soft, but pretty firm head.
Smell is a bit muddled, with some grainy notes and breadiness being interrupted by slashes of corn, corn snacks and vegetable soup. There’s a mineral hint and a punch of... leek? Yeah, leek. Maybe asparagus.
Taste is even more unclear, with a strong asparagus and leek soup vibe going on. Some slight bready and floral hints and a mild to moderate bitterness. Not clean or crisp.
Mouthfeel is decent, with medium body and a good level of carbonation.
Overall, this is a damn mess. If this what the classic style Italian pilsner should be, then no thanks.
