Pours a pale golden orange with a two-finger white fluffy head. Nice lacing and good head retention. Nice grassy/earthy aroma. Bitterness hits the tongue first, followed by nice malty sweetness. Finishes slightly sweet with a hint of hoppy bitterness. Medium-to-light body, with light carbonation. Overall, this is a great IPA - very drinkable! Kudos Columbus!

Logged from notes, shared via growler by someone at DLD '11. Apperance is gold and clear with a nice white head that retains nicely and leaves plenty of lacing. Nose is incredibly aromatic and reminds me of opening a fresh bag of pellet hops. Herbal notes paired with spice and pine pair with rich deep malts. The taste has some initial sweetness with some citrus and floral notes from the hops. As the hops subside, a caramel malt base is present. Mouthfeel is medium with appropriate carbonation making for a refreshing body. Overall, a great IPA worth tasting.

A -Bright orange with golden accents. Light white head. 3.75

S - Citrus and light pine

T - Pine bitterness up front. Slight citrus that comes up near the end. Bitterness lingers on in the finish

M - Good thick body with light carbonation. Good chewy beer that leaves a nice pine resin.

O - Solid IPA that leans on the bitter pine side

12 oz. bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Clear orange. Small white head. Medium collar and some wisps.

Smell - Citrus hop. Orange and grapefruit. Lots of doughy malt.

Taste - More grapefruit here. Slight sweetness. Caramel malt. Bitter finish. Straightforward but good flavor.

Mouthfeel - Medium body. Medium low carbonation. Bitter.

Overall - I'm not blown away, but it's good. There are better IPAs even in Florida.
