A very good DIPA. Like CBC IPA on steroids.

12oz can served in a footed pilsner glass. No date on the can. Received from @ovaltine in NBS BIF 14/15 activities.

Pours clear light brassy in color with a fairly big head and plenty of active carbonation. Head settles slowly, gets denser, looks creamy. Smell is mild, but nice -- mostly citrus pith, something vaguely sweet and floral. Definitely some resin.

Taste is bitter with a lot of floral sweetness, tons of resin, tons of citrus pith leaning more towards orange.

Mouthfeel is very light, crisp, clean. This is a really good beer.

Beautiful crystal clear liquid gold, dense thick cap of white head; substantial lacing. Just a beautiful beer to look at, verging on perfect.

Big overripe fruit danky nose; a touch a malty sweetness.

Taste mirrors nose closely but the fruity is less overripe and more crisp and fresh. Citrus with pineapple like bite too it; the big dank feel also still remains as does the hint of maltiness.

You can tell this is a big beer but my gosh is is crispy, clean and refreshing. It’s way to easy to drink; a gloriously bitter finish; like a hop cone jolly rancher.

This beer pours an absolutely clear golden color with a dense, creamy white head that sticks to the glass for the duration. Perfect look for an old school WCDIPA.

Dank citrus notes on the nose, especially ripe tangerine and grapefruit - and a bit of weed. The old school WCDIPA resemblance deepens. Wow, wow, wow.

The ripe tangerine and grapefruit flavors are forward on the taste, but what makes this beer world class for me is the dank weed flavor, which adds an earthiness that works exceptionally well, and a slight alcohol burn at the very back of the palate, which all of the best WCDIPA’s share as a characteristic.

The mouthfeel is crisp and dry, again perfect for the style. I am so happy I finally got to experience this magnificent beer.

From a 12oz can dated 3/21/22 into a pint glass.

Pours a light orangish yellow with about two fingers of tight white head. Incredible retention, decent lacing.

Smells strongly of pine, resins, earth and a hint of marijuana.

Taste follows. Bitter, dank pine dominates. Just a hint of malty sweetness.

Very sticky mouthfeel but perhaps a bit thin. Strong bitter aftertaste. Medium carbonation.

This is an awesome beer. No other description is necessary.

Look - Fantastic golden amber with a sligght haze and a big frothy white head that stick around and great lacing
Smell - grapefruit citrus smells with a little bit of graininess. Slightly dank
taste - defenetly a citrus, slight yellow grapefruit lemon there and that grainy caramel malt backbone. Pretty bitter and dank
Feel - Medium full body with a medium leaning light carb
Overall - fantastic class west coast style IPA.

I did really enjoy this one, definitely a more old school, had a little haze and opaqueness to it though. I don't think it'll be one of my absolute favorites in the world but I would always have this

A golden orange hazy color and a nice head. Smells like a delicious, promising blend of malt and hops. The taste is medium malt and some bitter hops. Some funk, sweet and citrus. Medium mouthfeel. Not too bitter. Good blend. Overall, I'm confident when fresh this is much crisper to taste. My can dated 06/07/21 is still drinkable and good. Special Thanks to my kiddo for sending me beer from Ohio.

07/15/21 on bottom of can. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.

A: Slightly hazy light amber with prodigious 2-finger off-white frothy head with a pillow of foam laying on top and craggy thin stripes of lacing. A stunner for sure.

S: Aromas of marijuana, lemongrass, leafy hop, black tea, and herbal honeysuckle dominate but leave plenty of room for some grapefruit and pineapple to sneak through. There are some lighter caramel notes as the beer warms.

T: Flavor is excellent but isn’t as intense as many other DIPAs but has nice honeysuckle, herbal, marijuana, and tobacco flavors with some fruity grapefruit, pineapple, and pine resin. Light caramel malt flavors are light but apparent. Bitterness is moderate-high with low esters and mild cherry alcohol flavor.

M: Dangerous medium body and very dry finish.

O: Bodhi is a classic Midwestern DIPA with light caramel notes and herbal, dank, MJ hop character with milder fruity grapefruit and orange flavors. Intensity was a bit less than expected. Still a very good DIPA especially for those who love the dank.

12 oz. can dated 4/07/21
Pours a cloudy orange with a huge, long lasting white head.
Grapefruit, pineapple, citrus peel.
Tastes like it smells with maybe some peach and resinous pine.
Mouthfeel is glorious. Soft and pillowy with a slightly dry finish.
An excellent DIPA.

Poured into a 13 oz Teku glass canned on 3/17/21. Pours a very attractive slightly cloudy orange with a finger sticky white head that leaves thin wisps of lace with nice retention. 4.5

Aroma pine, tangerine, apricot, and grapefruit rind. 4.25

Taste follows simple but really good. Pine, tangerine, apricot, and grapefruit really well balanced with just the right amount of bitterness. 4.25

Mouthfeel is above average, maybe a whisker dry, plenty of carbonation, and goes down really easy. 4.25

Overall this is an excellent East-West DIPA, one of the best non NEDIPAs I have had in a long time. Thanks Jzeilinger for this can. 4.25

Bottom of can is stamped 3/1/21. I assume (hope) that's a borned-on date.

Massive, stupid creamy head on this thing. Real nice lacing too. Honeyed-orange body reminds me of Two-Hearted and that's a definite plus. All in all, one of the prettier pours I've seen in a minute. Nice fresh hop scents; resinous pine with a bit of citrus. A lotta malt sweetness too. Smells nice. Taste follows, but it's a little muted. Hmmm, maybe that was a best-by date? I don't hate this by any stretch; what's there is well-balanced and tasty. Just doesn't taste fresh to me. Feel is soft and creamy; slightly oily on the back end. Minimal carbonation and just a hair shy of medium-bodied. Crossed the border into Ohio for cheaper gas the other day and found this in the cooler. I'll have to make that trip again some time and keep an eye out for fresh stock.

This one is damn soft. Almost like sleeping on the marshmallow man or Miranda Kerr’s bosom, these Columbus boys know what they are doing. Maybe they watched Saved by the Bell as kids because this one is straight up as West Coast as it gets. Pair this with a Double Double of beef dip from Phillipe’s, you bet I would.

See you later, my children.
