32 oz. growler filled last weekend, but unopened since then, poured into a NB snifter.
A - Pours a light, pale golden. Two-finger head of tight, dense eggshell-white foam is topped with a small crown of really loose sudsy bubbles, all of which dissolves into a sheen across the surface and trails of broken lace around the sides. Held to a full-spectrum light, the beer is a bright, almost neon sunshine yellow with just a trace of lime green in it, and clear. Nice legs on the glass from the malt sugars.
S - Citrus and resin hops backed by grainy, lightly toasted malts. Nose is somewhat subdued, but in an approachable way. Pleasant.
T - Toasted malts with bits of light caramel and a touch of butterscotch are nicely balanced by citrus and pine hops that match up like two sides of a coin; they compliment each other well and are tied together with just enough room for each to be noticed on its own. The citrus hops are especially good, tasting like a bowl of oranges and red grapefruit mixed together with a splash of lemon juice. The bitterness of the pine takes over in the finish and pushes out hints of lemon drops. Not a trace of the ABV, this drinks like a regular IPA.
M - Rather fizzy, almost foamy; carbonation should be tighter. Reasonable body with good, integrated construction. Solid structure. Finish is pretty dry, with almost a pucker at the end.
O - Compared to other Double / Imperial IPAs, this one is on the tame side, but that's what makes it so drinkable. Nicely balanced. While it still features the hops, there's a good foundation from the malts that makes this a solid, tasty beer that you keep reaching for across an evening.

Nice yellow almost hazy yellow. Dank aroma. Shockingly dry, a growing bitterness, very little malt. Tropical fruits eventually break through. More than adequate mouthfeel for a DIPA.

12oz can PKGD 08/03/23 poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass at fridge temp 8.3% ABV. The beer pours opaque, slightly hazy medium amber with khaki colored head. The head recedes to a thin cap and leaves rings of lacing. The aroma is moderate in strength featuring pine plus tropical and citrus fruit. The taste is bittersweet earthy, resinous tropical fruit layered on caramel malt. Moderate plus final bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Overall, excellent IPA.

12oz can, PKG03/16/23
L: slightly hazed golden body; frothy off-white head holds great retention
S: pithy & floral citrus, pineapple, guava
T: pineapple, pithy grapefruit, earthy pine, biscuity grain, guava, passion fruit
F: fuller body, moderate carbonation, dry finish with some piney bitterness lingering on the palate
O: a lot of interesting flavors that meld really well with this one. I see why it’s so popular!

A fingers worth of densely packed whipped luscious light khaki colored froth... Excellent retention... Color is an ever so slightly hazed honey amber that is loaded with caring paced carbonation streaks... Nose is dank and slightly piney... Somewhat restrained but no doubt about the style... A strong piney resin botter kiss to start, but otherwise it is completely as expected... Medium bodied and lush to start with lots of prickly carbonation... Rock solid IPA with no real chinks in the armor... Possibly the best looking IPA I've seen in a long long time...

New brewery and a want list tick removed courtesy of @ovaltine in bif17
Massive three finger shaving cream foam , clear golden carbonation with numerous carbonation streams, reduces to two fingers after five minutes
Chilled can poured into a pretentious beer glass
Aroma is orange citrus, pine, slight sweetness
Taste is orange citrus, pine
Smooth , clean with a hop bite on the finish
Good beer

A - Pours out a mostly transparent pale orange, with a short white head that reduces to a thin cap, some small bubble lacing.
S - Pine, orange creme, and earthy hop notes, with strong fruit sweetness at the core.
T - Follows the nose, with the citrus coming forward with some moderate sweetness through the middle, but a close that is strongly bitter snap, inviting another drink.
M - Moderate weight, decently carbonated, with a subtle build of dryness over time.
O - Does not really live up to the hype, but a decent, drinkable DIPA.
