Pours a slightly hazy golden with a nice big white foamy head that lingers for quite a while. Aroma is a bit off - faint pine, citrus, I think the off smell is actually a big grapefruit pith aroma. Big beer here - loads of hops: piney, lots of citrus - orange, lemon, grapefruit. Great balance of hops and malt, nice amount of bitterness the whole way through. Classic west coast style DIPA, definitely a go to beer.

Pours a glowing amber-golden color with a spongy, big head.

Smells of a pungent interplay of ripe oranges and spritzy lime zest, together with a light, crackery maltiness to back up the hops.

Has an oily, medium mouthfeel with a perfectly nuanced, lively carbonation and a long lasting lime finish.

Tastes of fresh peeled apricots, ripe oranges and a herbal grassiness. Turns a little softer, due to a lively effervescence and an accompanying, bready to sweeter maltiness, which gets entangled into a dry lime quality. Finishes with a sudden, scratchy hop burst, featuring passion fruit, more lime and sweet papaya, balanced by olive stones and cakey malts.

A great, old school double Ipa, which almost drinks a little too dangerously easy, as it features an astonishing balance between fruity, bitter and sweet. It develops a very satisfying flavor intensity early on, and keeps it till the end, surpassed by the classic ipaesque lemon bitterness during at the end.

Pours an effervescent amber with a thumb of cream colored head. Pretty good head retention & lacing

S: Piney with a little grapefruit

T: Follows the nose, breadyness as well, plus a little dryness. Dryness with grapefruit, a little orange as well. Finishes orangey, bready & a little dry with grapefruit

MF: Medium body, firm carbonation, good balance

Nice DIPA, wish I had found this fresher

This is a great beer. Similar to thier standard IPA, but more hoppy and much stronger. Can only have a couple and you must go down in abv. Color is deeper yellow. Smell is very skunky. Flavor is fantastic. 12oz bottle Columbus, oh. 16oz draft at Pastimes Pub New Albany Oh.
