12oz bottle received via a box from WesMantooth. Dated September 11, 2017.

Poured into a Fat Head nonic pint glass from the same box. Chill-hazed copper amber color, with a good-sized, off-white head. Lots of lace.

Very hoppy nose. I get grapefruit, mangoes, herbs and human sweat.

Hoppy in the taste as well. Sweet hoppiness in the lead, but with bitter, herbal and piney notes as well. More substantial malty backbone present than was foretold in the aroma, but it remains the hops' show.

Medium bodied, with a mouthfeel both creamy and resiny.

I get the hype. This leaps to pole position for Midwest IIPAs I have known. I would happily hit this again if available locally. Thanks, Corey!

L-The beer pours a beautiful clear gold with a 2 finger off white head. Lacing is superb with a curtain following a slow descent into the beer leaving excellent legs behind.
S-The nose is bitter grapefruit, a bit of cattiness, and a bit of pine.
T-Grapefruit is the dominant flavor right off the jump. Bitterness is moderate and slightly piney.
F- Carbonation is light but prickly. Mouthfeel is slick and combined with the carb leaves it feeling medium overall.
O-A very good DIPA, but perhaps a little overrated. Nonetheless I'd drink this one again without hesitation.

A friend got me a bottle. We trade beers. Excellent IPA. Hits all the categories you look for in a excellent IPA. Nice aroma, bitter taste with a nice kick. Next time I visit my brother in Columbus, I plan on picking up a case.

Thanks goes out to MastaaaGrillaaa for this brew, from NBS BIF#6

12 oz. Bottle
Bottled On: 082317
ABV: 8.3%

Poured into a tulip a pretty nice dark golden yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger white head, which leaves a pretty nice medium size island and some sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, some malts, a nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit), with some pineyness. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, kinda malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit), piney. Medium body, ABV hidden pretty nicely, with a pretty nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this one is surprising me, pretty tasty.
