12oz bottle from one of WesMantooth's BIF boxes. According to the stamp on the label, this was bottled on September 18, 2017.

Poured into a Selkirk Abbey shaker pint glass, this was a coppery shade of amber, with about an inch or so of off-white head that dropped to a thin collar after 3-4 minutes, leaving streaky and spotty lace.

Dank in the Cannabis sense. Very weed-like when first opened. There's also a somewhat restrained, bitter citrus aroma

The hoppiness is reminiscent of grapefruit and a tiny bit of pine, but it's rather subdued. There is also a subtle but noticeable warming alcohol in the middle of the taste that increases as things warm up. There's a big malt backbone to this that makes this a lot more balanced than it might otherwise be. I feel like I could easily be led into having another if one were handy, despite it's 10% abv booziness.

Fairly full bodied. Carbonation seems slightly low. Resiny, oily mouthfeel.

This is a big beer, but a fairly restrained one. I suppose this would be a hop monster if brewed in my part of the country, but it's got that thicker malt backbone I've come to associate with midwest IPAs. Probably a good thing too.

Thanks goes out to MastaaaGrillaaa for this brew, from NBS BIF#6

12 oz. Bottle
Bottled On: 091817

Poured into a Tired Hands glass a pretty nice clean/clear dark golden yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger white head, which leaves a pretty nice medium size island and some sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, some malts, a nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit), with some pineyness. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, kinda malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit), piney. Full Body, ABV could be hidden better, hot/spicey, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this one is pretty tasty.

Not really loving this beer something to do with the hop profile reminds me of garlic or onions. Color and carbonation is good a good body and an easy going finish make this beer pretty easy to crush but the flavors are not desirable at least for me. A decent DIPA with a fair 3 dollars a single price tag.

Look – I know a lot of other reviews said the beer was golden colored and clear, but mine is quite cloudy. Possibly because it is 10 months old.

Smell - sweet Caramell and honey.

Taste - fairly full bodied, loads of honey sweetness, gentle hop bite at the finish.

Feel - moderate carbonation, this beer coats the tongue with the honey-like sweetness. Just delicious.

Overall - this beer reminds me of one of my all-time favorites, Great Lakes Brewing's Lake Erie Monster. I drank this fresh and remembered the hops being very explosive. This review is on a beer that was 10 months old, and I enjoy it more after aging. It was a bit more mellow and well-rounded. Definitely worth seeking out. I look forward to its next release.

Nice billowing off white foamy head that rests beneath a nice even ring of sticky lacing. Kind of a pale gold, crystal clear body.

Nose is a little malty up front with some sweet hoppy spiciness kicking in with a few more aromas, like a hint of corn, sweet tangerine and like a soapy lemony pine.

Taste is a really aggressive, immediately hot tangerine that takes on bitterness a few seconds in. This really is a pretty hot beer, which is only exasperated by the thick, menacing, syrup like body. Finish has a touch of sweetness on a bone dry tongue.

Special thanks to N-Gogol for sharing a bottle with me. The poured out as a nice clear looking golden color with a white head on top. The smell of the beer is pretty well balanced with malt and hops. The taste is like a bomb of hops exploding in your mouth. It's really well done to cover you a big grain bill for a 10% beer. The feel is medium bodied. Overall I thought the beer was pretty sick, definitely worth trying.
