A- Pours a hazy lighter golden orange color with a very thin white head. Head is gone pretty quick and leaves no lacing at all.

S- A pretty solid amount of hops pop up at me. A lot of grassy hops for sure, touch of pine and maybe a bit of lemon. Some bready malts too.

T- Pretty solid here. Hops are fairly strong here with grassy and floral leading the way. A touch of a malt back bone as well.

M- Lighter side of medium in body and good amount of carbonation.

O- Pretty damn good. I'm not surprised by that at all coming from these guys.

L: Really dark clear amber for a 4.7%. Extremely active carbonation. The head sustains. The surface is glossy after a couple sips.

S: Mosaic like, grapefruity with a hint of pine. Doesn't smell strong like their original IPA, though it's still flavorful and reminiscent. A swirl in your glass opens it up nicely.

T: Fresh bitter hops over a pale German malt. It's quite nice. It doesn't punch your palate like a stronger IPA would.

F: Lightweight and light oil.

O: It's a moderate pick, perhaps even an introductory style. It's well crafted, while not extreme on the alcohol or the flavor. Sometimes that's a thing when you can't go to town on 6 Bodhi.

Grasshoppa brewed by Columbus Brewing Company, with an ABV of 4.70% This American IPA pours out a hazy golden amber color with a nice white head. There is a nice amount of lacing to this brew, it sticks to the side of glass well. The smell is rich an strong with hop bitterness, earthy grains and malts. There is also a slight citrus flavors in the smell as well. So far Grasshoppa has the look an smell of most American IPA's on the market, not saying that is a bad thing. This is nice inviting brew, really liking the hazy color of this brew. Now for the taste, it is Bold with flavors. You first pick up on a lot of hop bitterness, then it smooth out with the earthy grass grains and malts. The body of Grasshoppa is a soild medium. There is nothing overpowering about this American IPA, it has a super nice balance to it. This brew goes down nice an smooth. The mouth feel is Bold, Hoppy, Clean, Smooth and Refreshing. Overall I'm going to give Grasshoppa a soild 4 out of 5. I would definitely look this brew up again giving the opportunity to. Columbus Brewing Company, did a real nice job with with this American IPA brew.

Bottle dated 2-13-18. CBF tulip pint.

A: pours a slightly hazed copper orange with one finger of yellowish head. Streams of carb flowing up slowly through what looks like thick, viscous beer. Lacing covers the sides of the glass exquisitely.

S: I can smell the hops straight out of the fridge. That’s impressive given that the bottle is pushing five months old and bought from a store of questionable provenance.

T: it tastes pretty much how I expected it would - dry, hoppy, citrus peel flavor. Not very bitter at all. Grassy and citrusy. Bright.

M: this is where this beer shines. Lately I have encountered more and more session IPAs that have this thick, smooth texture. Long gone are the days of hopwater. This is a session IPA worthy of the name.

O: this beer really delivers. Loaded with aroma, flavor and texture, but with a low ABV. I wonder how this would have tasted fresh? Kicking myself for having overlooked it earlier this season. I like this more than Thunderlips.

I got this off the single shelf at my local Meijer. It a slightly hazy yellow with white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had hints of citrus peel. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with citrus peel presence. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

Pours an effervescent gold with a thumb+ pg ivory colored head. Stellar lacing & good head retention

S: Citrus, grass, mango, all fade as this warms

T: Orange peel, bready dryness up front.

MF: Medium body, firm carbonation, good balance. Citrus, mango & bready dryness as this warms, a touch of grassyness too. Finishes crisp, dry, with orange peel

Pretty good as session IPAs go, bloody drinkable

Grassy and herbal hop aroma, pours a slightly hazy straw with a thin cap of white head. Light bodied, with a strong hop flavor, not much in the way of malt here. This fades to an earthy bitter finish. Overall, a solid session IPA.
