On tap at the brewery in a nonic glass. Reviewed from notes.

A-The beer is light-golden colored and clear. A film of white head arrives on my glass and hangs around for a bit leaving some curtains of lace. There are a few bubbles of carbonation climbing the glass. Nice looking stuff.

S-The aroma is pretty simple, even for a pis. I pick up subtle notes of cereal grain and bread crust with hints of pepper. Light, but not off-putting.

T-The taste is more amped up. It tastes like it smells, but with more authority. I am picking up flavors of bread crust, biscuit, mild grain notes, peppery hops, as well as some floral and grass notes on the finish.

M-The body is medium in heft with semi-crisp carbonation. It drinks pretty easily and doesn't leave me filling water-logged.

O-This is a good example of a beer that isn't trying too hard to be something outrageous or convoluted. It may not wow people with intense hops or high ABV, but it drinks well and provides good flavor. It looks good, too.

exactly what it says it is, a well made summer slammer with plenty of character for how light it is. often the really light ones have no flavor, not much different from macro beer, but this one is different. it has a to of flavor, especially from the yeast, a bakery fresh pizza doughy lager strain that brings a round and dry finish. there are some hops in here too, grassy and light, maybe saaz or something like it, and a very pale grain base that is the least interesting element of the brew. they nailed the mouthfeel too, light in body so its easy drinking obviously, but it isnt watery in the least, and has a ton of carbonation that makes it real refreshing too. they have some interesting food on their menu here, so a beer like this can help cleanse the palate and not get in the way of clever cuisine, but its also really satisfying just by itself. these guys have come a long way since they first opened. all of there beer i had on my recent visit were good to very good. i would just like to see a few more inventive or experimental choices on the menu.
