Poured from a bottle brought to me by a friend, poured into a pint glass. Comes out a slightly hazy straw gold color with a smallish head that leaves great lacing. Smell on this one is light but inviting, notes of citrus hops with some stone fruit. Taste is cracker malt initially, middle is some tropical fruit sweetness, finishes with a small resin hop note and that fades away fast. Really soft mouthfeel, slightly dry, light in the stomach. Really nice easy drinking IPA, could use a bit more hops but I like the balanced approach at times, too.

Bottle was either infected or was one of the last bottles in the run. There was a thick stripe of yellow going up the side of the bottle and it was caked on the inside of the cap.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Sampled on August 7, 2015.

Light amber orange pour with a modest but long lasting cream colored head.

Floral and fruity notes greet the nose at first with a modest toasted biscuit maltiness behind it all.

Medium body.

The taste begins with a toasted bread malt flavor but the floral and slightly fruity hop notes come in and leave a slight impression at the end. A pretty standard hoppy IPA.

On tap at Ri Ra Irish Pub in Portland, ME.

This pours a slightly hazy golden yellow, with a one inch head, and just a bit of lacing.

Smells like zesty grapefruit, a bit of toasty malt, lemon, pine, and grassiness.

This is a simple but still satisfying IPA. It's got a nice smack and bite on the finish, moderately bitter, with juicy grapefruit, lemon, and a little bit of orange up front. It's nothing that hasn't been done a million times before, but that doesn't mean it's bad.

This is medium bodied, very crisp in the mouthfeel, with a normal level of carbonation.

This review probably describes a million other IPAs out there, for sure. But I'd still recommend this one.

Pours a golden color with a slight orange tint to it, decent sized white head that fades quickly, some patchy lacing on the glass.

Smell has a strong piney aroma, very hop forward, sweet malt backing is noticeable after the hops waft away.

Taste start out with the piney hop bitterness, good pine aftertaste throughout, sweet malt less noticeable in the flavor than it was in the nose, finishes dry with the pine lasting to the end, slightly resiny body with medium carbonation levels, never too sticky and rather refreshing

This is a very solid IPA, citrus/grapefruit presence may be lacking but the the pine makes up for it.
