Apricot colored with a low white head that settles out quickly and disappears. Low and citrusy aroma, notes of orange pulp and rind. Similar flavors, plus subtle honey malt, and a crisp hop bitterness. Lots of tingling on the tip of the tongue, partly from carbonation and partly from hop bitterness. Not overly complex hop flavors. Moderate bitterness. Good, not great.

I think this is a slightly underrated beer. Pours a golden yellow color, nice white head, with some haze. Aroma is some citrus with lots of grassiness. There's also a familiar dankness to the smell as well which I like in my IPA's. I'm not getting much malt aroma. Taste is also very grassy and dank with a touch of citrus. Only a mild bitterness on the finish. Just enough malt sweetness for balance. Mouthfeel is a little light for my liking, but it doesn't take away from my enjoyment. I'm liking this beer way more than I expected. Very drinkable and could envision drinking lots of these on a hot day.

A guy with a beard from Banded Horn was nice to me at a beer fest so I started drinking his beer. Good stuff.

Usually I get this on tap, first time I've seen bottles. Cloudy gold with some foam. Good retention. Smells great: pine pitch, grapefruit and sweet sugary Twinkie aroma. A "balanced" IPA without being a derogatory term. Flavor is a mix of tropical and citrus hops with piney edges. Sugary cracker malt. Dry, resin saturated finish.

One of my favorite IPAs right now.

Good golden color with a white head.
Crisp, clear smell of citrus
Great citrus taste with following of hop bitterness, but not over powering. Very good balance
Mouthfeel is smooth, not heavy
Overall, an outstanding addition to the ranks of American IPAs.

Poured from a bottle brought to me by a friend, poured into a pint glass. Comes out a slightly hazy straw gold color with a smallish head that leaves great lacing. Smell on this one is light but inviting, notes of citrus hops with some stone fruit. Taste is cracker malt initially, middle is some tropical fruit sweetness, finishes with a small resin hop note and that fades away fast. Really soft mouthfeel, slightly dry, light in the stomach. Really nice easy drinking IPA, could use a bit more hops but I like the balanced approach at times, too.

Pours a cloudy light gold and a bright white half finger head. Aroma is slightly citrus like. Taste is hop forward with lemon and grapefruit rind notes. Not too sticky but good bitterness in the aftertaste. Overall enjoyable and preferableven over many ipas.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a decent looking semi-hazy orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than thirty seconds. Light stringy lacing slid into the beer. The smell started off with a light tropical citrus to a light pine. The taste copied the smell leading into the aftertaste and a dry bitter finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable sticky bitterness over my tongue. Overall, this was a pretty good IPA, might not be one to go with food, but I’d have again.

Bottle was either infected or was one of the last bottles in the run. There was a thick stripe of yellow going up the side of the bottle and it was caked on the inside of the cap.
