IPA is our most popular brand, representing about 70% of all sales. This hop-forward IPA features bright citrus notes with a clean, balanced malt profile. It has been liberally dry hopped with Citra and Amarillo creating unmistakable aromatics.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a puffy head of white foam. The head has a great level of retention, fading over time and leaving lots of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heavy of a herbal and grapefruit smell mixed with a bit of cracker malt and a touch of pine. Along with these aromas comes a little bit of grain and a hint of toast and must.
Taste – The taste starts out with a cracker malt flavor paired with a good showing of a herbal and grapefruit hop. There is a tiny bit of caramel and harvest fruit upfront, both of which fade as the taste advances. All the while a bit of floral hop joins in, and with a touch more herbal and pine coming to the tongue, one is left with a nice fresh, and decently hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess with a rather average carbonation level. The feel is quite nice for the flavors, making for a very easy sipping brew.
Overall – A quite flavorful and dangerously easy drinking IPA that drinks like its abv is at 5.5 % but is at 7.2 %. A tasty brew overall, and one I will certainly go back to again.

Good IPA. More of a NEIPA than an AIPA, but that's just my opinion. Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer features a hazy straw yellow color that is brighter and less dull than most straw yellow, hazy beers. There is a big frothy head with lots of "nooks and crannies" that is long lasting. Wide rings of foamy lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste are mostly grapefruit with a little tropical fruit added. Decent bitterness and "dankness" levels also. The mouthfeel is crisp and medium bodied and definitely benefits from the bitterness and "dank". Quite enjoyable!!!

From a 16oz can dated 10/28/22 into a 12oz glass (at a hotel). Can message: "Matt Smith/Dr. Brew"

Pours an opaque orange with about one finger of white head. Ok retention, decent lacing.

Crack of the can yields juicy citrus aromas-oranges, tangerines followed by some bitter smelling pine, grapefruit and citrus rind.

Taste follows. Juicy up front then some nice piney, rindy bitterness on the back end.

Balanced mouthfeel-slightly soft, slightly sticky. Medium bodied. Low-medium carbonation. Bitter aftertaste.

This is a really good balance of juice and bitterness. Excellent brew.

consumed straight from the can, so can't give a real rating on appearance (but the can was lovely). Aroma and tongue had plenty of grapefruit and general citrus notes. Full bodied and creamy. Very easy drinking. Overall, a nice IPA.

No better way to wrap up the summer than with a lovely local can of suds. For a 7.2%, this does not kick you in the mouth. It’s smooth but tropical. Not totally clear, but not an opaque sludge that you have to battle through, either. It’s delightfully refreshing and pairs well with a setting sun on a late summer afternoon. Cheers to a Seacoast Summer night.
