I visited the Binghamton area restaurant which was pretty good except for small portion size for the dollar. I got the multiple meat plate. The brisket was a bit dried but everything else was good. the server told me the restaurant offers a all-you-can-eat Chicken in fry special. I told them I am from Scranton and they told me of a location within an hour's drive of my home. so I loaded up the family to go there for the special and after driving all the way there I was informed that they do not offer the special at that location. I tried contacting corporate and even sent copies of the receipts for my meals explaining how I was not thrilled after having driven an hour and about an original problem I had it the other restaurant. I was totally ignored so overall I would not rate this restaurant very good as they just do not seem to care very much about the customer. There's nothing a customer hates more than being ignored and literally it's been 3 months and after 3 attempts I still have not heard from them.

Whoa. The beer list here is impressive. I couldn't even count how many beers they have on tap. Perhaps 3 or 4 dozen? Their beer menu is it's own book that goes on for pages and pages. Just... whoa.

Of course, craft options like Allagash are on there next to a couple of token evil empire options, but I guess they do that so that you can bring your non-beer geek family here and (hopefully) start nudging them toward the craft selections after they knock back a Blue Moon or two.

The beer menu is a bit cumbersome, actually, as it offers no way to sort through the overwhelming selection. Also keeping the rating lower than it might be is the fact that they don't to flights. What? How could a place like this NOT do flights?!?! They don't even do half pints. So, you get this giant book of beers and you have to choose. Whatever you choose, you're stuck with a whole pint of it. How many pints can you really put away on a work night? That's the limiting factor. My strategy at a place with a bangin' selection is usually to grab a flight (or two) of the stuff I want to try, then narrow the field down to what I want a full pint off. Sometimes I just do the flights. They get a higher margin, but I get better value for getting to try more things (or sometimes just try things side by side that I've never compared).

The food is good, but not great. I recommend the Alligator tacos! The menu is pitmaster fair meets a bit of Southwestern style.

Service is good and interior is beautiful. Really nice.

Reviewed after 3 visits since their opening in December 2013.

Nicely remodeled in the old Christie's location just off the highway and right across from Wegmans and the mall. The right side of the restaurant has the bar area and high top tables. To the left is a large dining area with tables and booths. Our visit during their opening week was the only time we had to wait for a table.

Beer selection is good with 40 taps plus some mostly macro bottles. Good variety in the tap list with all the expected regional and national brands represented. As far as ultra local they had something from Galaxy for a while, but nothing from Water Street or The North. There are a few taps taken up by macros and the standard imports which aren't really necessary. All the big seasonals have been showing up - Sucks, Hopslam, Nugget Nectar, Enjoy By, Founders stouts including KBS. Price is the one big drawback. A lot of 9 oz or 11 oz pours for $6 or $7. Even standard offerings are pretty expensive. And the worst was 11 oz of Maine Pepper for $8. Don't mind paying extra for something very limited like KBS, but that's not the case with the majority of these.

Food has been mixed so far. Brisket was disappointing - way too fatty. Pulled pork was better especially with some extra BBQ sauce and the burger was good. On the appetizer front wings and corn fritters stand out so far.

Overall very promising, but still needs some work. If the prices come down a bit and the food gets more consistent this will be the best craft beer spot in the Binghamton area.
