On draft at Republic at the Linden, Hartford, CT.

A- Strange appearance from the taps to a snifter. No head forms and the beer itself is some strange murky, muddy pale apricot-peach hue. Lacing is non-existent and this one resembles a very raw juice.

S- A good balance of citrus, juicy stone fruit and floral hops. On the fruity side for sure. Just under pungent but good strength. Mango, peach, tangerine and melon notes.

T- Again juicy but a bit more citrus here with tangerine and grapefruit taking a place in the foreground. Juicy with all of the notes mentioned in the aroma. Hints of cereal and bread from the malts. Dank melon, mango, and all around tropical.

MF- Medium body overall with a moderate amount of carbonation. A bit of an oily slickness and slight frothy creamy texture. Smooth.

The appearance is certainly lacking but everything else is solid. A good mix of citrus and tropical fruits from the hops.

Tasty beverage! Had before I had the Naughty Eskimo and I thought I was making the wrong move. Come to find out the NE is actually a few notches better. This one is a classic DIPA with a big malt bill in the middle that gives it a substantial body and sweetness. Hops are bitter, piney, and a touch citrus. Just wish they were on display a tad more. Try the Eskimo or the Thornton Melon if you want a nice hoppy treat.

My first was a pint can purchase from the connoisseur area of my local set up for sampling. This IIPA poured cloudy orange with a great bounty of hop / fruit aroma. I love hoppy imperial India pale ales and the first taste didn’t disappoint. The mouthful is not harsh and is smooth to your palate with the swallow. I found the fruit hop flavor after taste is very pleasing with no bitter after taste and the performance works as they describe on their site. I highly recommend locals or anyone else sample a Nummy Nummy if you have the opportunity. I never knew of the Stubborn Beauty Beer Co. but I’ll have to visit the brewery as it’s just down the road from my drummers’ house. THUMBS UP!! So many Beers so little time...............

Had on draft in a 12 oz stemless goblet. Dark and stormy orange in color, fairly opaque and unfiltered in appearance. Minimal head but lacing was pretty steadfast.

Aroma was a bit hard to pinpoint. Not overpowering in that regard. Juicy hop flavors bringing grapefruit to mind. Bitterness on the back end is assertively citrus pith/peel. Malt presence is subdued in terms of sweetness.

Alcohol notes are pretty mild mannered despite the 8+% ABV. Very nice mouthfeel, carbonation is lively on the tongue and yet the malt balance lends a silken quality that is rather nice. This is the kind of beer you could easily get in trouble with because of how quaffable it is.

On draft, very cloudy with little aroma. The initial taste is boozy, you can taste all 8%abv , lots of sweetness, I don't get a lot of specific hop flavor or profile. Reminds me of the booziness of dfh 75 minute. It's good, not my favorite
