On tp at the brewery

Pours clouded lighter amber, long lasting khaki cap leaves respectable lace and a thicker collar.

Nose is of mild hops.

Fresh tasting and pleasantly hopped up IPA, citric bite with ample grapefruit

Medium body and carbonation is on point.

Better then respectable IPA from this Bronx, NY, Brewery

Half growler from Premier Gourmet. Golden looks with head, good hop aroma. Forward hops. The finish was acidic, that can take some working on. Decent sippability only.

Poured from a 16oz can into a Speiglau IPA glass.

Pours with a fairly big head that dissipates quickly leaving nice rings around the glass. Look is a hazy orange brown.

Aroma is a toffee slightly vanilla astringent orange citrus note at the end.

Taste is a sweet dry not too bitter hoppy but herbal citrus flavorful beer.

Easy drinking IPA, kinda feels like a lighter pale ale, but I am guessing the hop alcohol combination qualify it as an IPA.

Had it on tap at the NYC District Tap House.

Very mild IPA with good of flavor. Cloudy copper with little head and minimal lacing. Mild hop start, good mouthfeel with excellent grapefruit finish. I think it would make an excellent addition to the beer fridge. Not too much for friends that don't (haven't started to) drink IPAs but tasty enough for those that do.

On tap at Tribeca Tap House, NYC, it pours gold color with foamy 1-2 finger white head that faded slowly and left good lacing with rings as it went down. Pretty standard looking IPA.

Smells of citrus hops and pungent grapefruit, lemon zest with biscuit, caramel and a nice malty backbone. The grapefruit was the most dominant part of the nose.

Flavor is bitter up front with the grapefruit hitting first, followed by orange peel, lemon, citrus hops, a touch of pine and light biscuit. Flavor seemed weak and a bit diluted, more like a session IPA than a standard almost 6% ABV IPA. Overall it was good so I'll give it another try next time I come across it.
