A thanks to the commander of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a golden/orange color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of mango, citrus. Wow, taste is nothing like the aroma. Dank, pine, a touch of mango, significant bitterness and a bit on the boozy side. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

A: The beer is relatively clear yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of cantaloupe melon are present in the nose along with hints of grapefruit and piney hops.
T: The taste of this beer is mostly dominated by flavors of cantaloupe melon with some hints of grapefruit hops in the finish and underlying bits of caramel malts. Little if any bitterness is present.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. No crispness is noticeable.
O: This beer has an interesting aroma and taste of melons and citrus. You need to let it warm up a bit before the melons start to become apparent.

Clear, golden body; big carbonation bubbles producing a one-finger thick, sudsy head. Interesting aroma combination of pretzels with a low-key lemon note in the background. Intense pine resin taste with a bit of citrus kick to mellow things (slightly); occasional notes of biscuit-like malt flavors. Medium body; biting with a boozy burn on the palate; a bit strong on the residual sugars, too; rather harsh feel overall.

A rather hot and unbalanced DIPA.

Medium gold and just shy of clear under a finger or two of white foam... Lemon-edged tropical fruits with an acerbic edge... Sharp herbal notes and a piney shellac... Can't say i'm too fond, but i'll have to see if it grows on me... Medium-weight, faintly carbonated, little bit sticky, leaves a tacky feeling on the tongue... 4/30/18 canning
