Smell: Biscuit, malt, orange juice, citrus, tangerine ,clementine, mango, apricot, stone fruit
Mouthfeel: Acidic, feels prickly in mouth as you hold it. Otherwise, not necessarily creamy. Drinks medium bodied. Head dissipated relatively quick.
Taste: Biscuity, malty, grapefruit, pithy, some sweetness to balance out the bitterness. The finish isn't bitter or drying but definitely strong dank grassy flavor at the end (it is a triple IPA afterall). Heat from alcohol radiates down chest.
This isn't an IPA that is chuggable by any means, it drinks like its ABV (9.3%). The bitter taste makes you hesitate to go back for more. It's a heavier beer full of aromatic hops, it's pretty juicy but the bitter grassy flavor blends in just enough on the finish to give the beer a distinct after taste. This is a pretty complex IPA, perfect for any IPA heads that really love Mosaic hops, I think this beer was crafted perfectly for those in mind.
