Received a crowler from Crooked Eye as a Christmas gift. Drank within a week of Christmas.
Pours a golden, honey yellow color. Mostly translucent. A puffy, dense white colored head on the initial pour.
Aromas of sweet malts and pine.
A very nice IPA. Flavors of sweet malts, grapefruit, pine with a mild bitterness. Very easy drinking and refreshing. The ABV is not noticeable.
Medium consistency, medium carbonation.
My first beer from Crooked Eye even though they are from Hatboro and within walking distance of my business. A very good IPA. Well balanced and a very approachable IPA...cheers!

Nice golden amber color, clear, nice clean hoppy taste. Nice lacy head. Not too hoppy, closer to low end hops on ipa scale. Medium body. Nice drinkable ipa

on draft at the brewpub, 10 oz glass
clear, dark golden color, foamy white head. Aroma is piney with mild citrus, like old school "C" hops. similar flavor, bitter and some minor caramel malt flavor to balance. thinner bodied.

The appearance is cloudy with a rich orange amber color.
The head was long lasting and left moderate lacing.
The aroma was hoppy. Some lean citrus notes poked through.
The taste is good but nothing special. It's nicely balanced with some
decent hop notes.
Overall I think it's a good beer and I'm sure as these guys get going it will get better.
