Awesome chill spot to visit...small tap room, by the brewery, larger outdoor space

Super friendly, low key and funky atmosphere. Friendly barkeep is always a huge plus

Pints and smaller pour readily available, plus cans to go, plus crowler fills

Righteous and must hit spot if in the area.....enjoyable reggae seems always to be playing here..and I’m not complaining.

 

Pretty nice little place on the north side of Sarasota with a nice rotating selection and a nice patio.

 

 

 

 

 

The beer is poor to mediocre. I did not have one that I actually liked and I tried all of them they had on... service was meh at best and the place is not fun... would never return.

JDub's always has a good stout or porter on tap. Lately, their Damb Good wee heavy is usually on tap. Good beers and good folks!

 

 

 

Very cool place. Nice backyard with lots of games. Great retro modern rock music. Good beer. Highly recommended.

 

 

Surprisingly delicious! From the street view looking in, my expectations were low. After walking through the 100+ year old hand-crafted and beautifully preserved front doors, my expectations were turned upside down. We ordered two flights which covered all eight house flavored on tap. Flavor selection and style variety was a pleasant surprise. As a local to this area (and one who regularly picks their flagship beer Up Top IPA off the shelves) I am making a point to frequent this place more often.

I really have come to like JDub's, especially now that their hours/days open are expanded.
Parking is the only real issue but the tire place across the street doesn't mind us using their lot after 5 and the street is quiet.
Service is very attentive and very friendly and there are several TV's showing various sporting events (Go Lightning!!!)
The brews on tap are listed prominently with style, ABV, cost and whether it is available for growlers. The selection is different every time I go in.
Food trucks are available sometimes, the schedule is prominently displayed.
It's a very laid back, comfortable place to meet friends after work.
If you're having trouble finding the place, it's on 12th St. on the east side of the railroad tracks.

They make excellent beer, especially for a fairly young brewery. They really don't miss.

 

I really enjoy this brewery, the atmosphere is great, and everyone that works there behind the scenes and behind the counter are awesome! If you are in town make sure you stop by, there's overflow parking across the street as well.

Taproom has bar with 10 taps of their own beer. The tap list almost always has a couple of new offerings each week. Huge windows looking into the brewery creates a cool observation point. Huge biergarten in the back that has many tables and benches along with cornhole, a frisbee golf hole, and giant connect four game.

The staff is super friendly and always willing to walk anyone through their menu to help find the best selection for your tatstes.

All-in-all, a great gem just a few blocks from the Orioles minor league park and 5 minutes from downtown Sarasota.
