Dive Bar bliss.
A- Big ol pint filled with a pale yellow golden brew that is slightly hazy. Puffy, frothy white crown with good retention. Plentiful webs and drizzled lace.
S- As billed its a pretty neutral farmhouse brew that not being a knock at all. Citrus like lemon oil, Belgian yeast spice and pale cracked cereal grains.
T- Saison yeast driven with a big citrus presence like lemon and orange zest, white grape is strong, peppercorn and coriander, wheat bread and a hint of phenolic flavors. Pale cereal grains but dry overall.
MF- Smooth and silky medium bodied feel for the style. Foamy and frothy overall texture with a hint of lemony tartness in the finish.
A farmhouse standard with big yeast tones all over the palate. Pale fruits and citrus zest are the driver for me with plenty of other complexities balanced in.

On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy golden with fluffy white head, lively carbonation and nice lacing. Aroma is of funky yeast, bready malt, wheat, citrus and spices. Body is medium and smooth. Cloves, citrus fruit, peppery yeast, earthy hops and wheat malt fill the mouth. Finish is long and spicy. Nice brew.

Slightly hazy pale yellow, topped with a thin, soft film, and leaving coral patterned lace on the glass.
Smell is lemon, light cheese, yeast, and hay.
A crisp cracker and a peppery yeast bite open up at first taste. Bright, tangy and unexpected herbal, with hints of stone fruit, and blueberry coming to mind at times.
Definitely better than Wanderlust, the only other Saison I've had of theirs.

Pint on draft in a mason jar at Local Sprouts in Portland, Maine.
Appearance: Pours a nearly clear yellow with a frothy white head that dissipates quickly.
Aroma: Dry, with notes of clove and spice. Somewhat earthy.
Taste: Tasty dry, peppery, spicy saison. Some lemon. Some grass/earth.
Mouthfeel: Easy on the palate. Pleasant.
Overall: Very enjoyable saison. Paired with a soup and sandwich. Great combo.
