We indulged in our desire to create an IPA that personifies the vivid flavors that can be coaxed from the hop cone, painted on a canvas of soft malt that allows the flavors to shine through. Extensively hopped in the kettle and in the fermentor, we spared nothing in making this beer.

Epiphany was designed to showcase the glorious flavor and aromatics of hops without any astringent bitterness.

Citrus, tropical fruit and pine blend to provide you with a sublimely juicy hop experience.

East or west coast? No. This is a Maine IPA.

Grains: Pilsner Malt, Pale Malt, Oats
Hops: Columbus, Cascade, Citra, Ella, Mosaic
Yeast: House British

Pours a hazy mango color with a fluffy white head that grabs the glass and doesn’t let go. Gorgeous beer. The nose is packed with mango, pineapple, papaya, and tangerine notes, and that is exactly where the taste lands.

The mouthfeel is medium and on the dry side, which is fantastic. This is a world class beer, IMHO.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours orange yellow with a small white head. Smells of creamy citrus, nice and full. Tastes of creamy citrus and some pine notes. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

16 oz can from Tavour. Golden, light haze, fizzy head. Bready, fruity aroma, pineapple. Taste brings citrus tartness, pineapple, grapefruit peel. Light in feel, tingly, hint of sourness.

Canned in august, drank in November. Fairly aggressive pour into a snifter. Not catching much on the nose. Color is a nice amber. A bit less hazy than your usual NE ipa. Hops are fairly mellow for a double ipa as well. Nice hint of pine. Mouthfeel is smooth and goes down easy. Good stuff overall.

13 ounce pour at Foundation in Portland, Maine.
Bright hazy golden pour with a tight bubbly white head.
Aroma of over ripe citrus, tropical fruit, pine and a green dankness that is so enticing.
Tastes of sweet ripe tropical fruit, ripe orange; piney and green but with a subdued yet definitively present bitterness. Certainly juicy - this seems like the quintessential New England IPA.
Creamy medium full mouthfeel with soft juiciness as noted, bright carbonation and a clean finish.
Absolutely great.

Wow. Honestly the IPA scene has been getting a little dry recently and this beer woke me up again. It just smells natural and green and tropical. Goes down the same. Best IPA of all sorts in Maine so far. Must try.

Look: Straw yellow, slightly clumpy head

Smell: Citrus, tropical fruit, slight note of funk, stone maybe?

Taste: So complex. Lots of fruit like the nose, beautifully long slightly sour finish, maybe even yeast notes? But very clean and oh so drinkable.

Feel: Medium with well-balanced bubbles

Overall: The finest Maine IPA I've tried so far, and possibly the finest Maine IPA you can try

Danky dank dank. Forefront of pure dank ganja on the smell, followed with mild tropical and piney notes. Taste is more citrusy and dank notes, just not as strong as the smell would indicate, as it had a subtlety of character. A bit of an obnoxious body, mouth watering and almost obsequious in its’ nature. An “oh, look at me beer.” I’m looking. You’re worth it. Relax. Long time want. Didn’t disappoint.
