Notes:
Inspired by the great lager beers of central Europe, and named after one of the first roller coasters in Maine, Riverton Flyer is a Pilsner that strikes the perfect balance of grassy and bready malts combined with spicy and herbal hops. Crack open a can and enjoy the ride.

Canned 5/1/17, come fly with me
I tried to put gently but can forced a large fluffy 2 finger head fades slowly decent lacing, mostly clear slight hazed pilsner color
Nose big toasted pilsner grain, straw, cereal, bread dough, little grassy, mild grassy hops
Taste full pilsner malt, toasted grain straw, cereal, bread dough, etc, mild grassy floral hops, fair to mild bitterness, mild fruity lager notes, soft lager, little hop spicy more grassy herbal on finish, dry mild crispness
Mouth is med to lighter bod, decent but a little light on carb, soft lagering
Overall pretty nice pilsner, hit all right boxes so not sure why people are bashing it, because God forbid foundation makes something that isn't super hoppy?

Oddly, this was served in a tulip glass, but it holds up leaving several rings of lace and streaks in between. The liquid is more hazy than most pilsners but still retains the golden color.
Pleasant floral, malted pale barley. Very light hop. Extremely attractive.
Much more hoppy (spicy) than I expected. Based on the smell, I expected the typical Czech pilsner but this is more like an APA/pilsner hybrid. The base is less smooth than most pils. Bellow average body with an elevated effervescence but it works. The finish is bubbly with a black pepper bitterness.

Can from 7-11
Just shy of clear light golden with a huge frothy white head that persists. Sweet bready crackery pilsner maltiness with a solid shot of earthy spicy floral hops. Very well made American interpretation of a German pilsner, but just a hint too heavy handed with the hops imho, but I still enjoyed the hell out of it.

From the 16 oz. can dated 02/15/17. Sampled on March 11, 2017.
The pour is a very heady, straw yellow with constant carbonation leading up to that foamy white head that lingers and laces. This is exactly what I expect a Pilsener to look like.
The aroma is inviting with its array of toasted bread. crackers, citrus-zing, and herbal qualities. It smells clean and fresh.
The body is in the medium range, which is better than I expect for the style.
The taste has the same toasty, citrus zesty notes as the aroma suggests with a keen sweetness and a lingering herbal hop presence at the end. An excellently crafted Pilsener.

16oz can. Pours a translucent straw color with over an inch of frothy head. Lots of lacing. The aroma is bready with lots of floral and herbal hops. A hint of citrus, namely lemon. The taste is a blend of lemon, floral and spicy hops along with hay, bread and the Pilsner malt. Malty finish with citrus peel and spicy hops. Creamy mouthfeel with lots of carbonation and not much alcohol heat. Well made Pilsner I would certainly buy again.
