Had a great experience down by the riverside. Engaging owner brewer! Blew my mind away away with an extra bonus pour of a Strawberry desert stout. One of the best beers I have ever had, as was the Cootie Brown (Brown Ale).

Small indoor area to have a few drinks, small bar but plenty of 2/4 person tables. Good selection of Beers which were all quality. Full and Half pours available with Can sales. Bartender was friendly and helpful with the first suggestion for my wife. Would like to see in summer when Patio is accessible.

Boutique brewery, in Winooski, just 5 or so mins north of downtown Burlington...tiny room with a few table, up against the fermentors, an equally tiny bar, and some pleasant space outdoors to enjoy in non winter months.

They are turning out delicious brews in all sorts of styles...kettle sours, pastry stouts, and fresh and tasty NEIPA....on draft, in cans, growlers and bottles to go...great spot, great beers, fun and low key atmosphere..friendly and informative folks behiind the bar always a plus.....well worth a visit.

This place had grown on me and I feel it's a bit underrated. Love the coziness of it. The times I've been there it hasn't been overcrowded which is worth a whole scale rating alone ... I'm not a fan of cluster F settings and long lines. Love the whole making good beer in the garage type of feel to it. Almost nostalgic to me as it brings back old memories of the days when Hill Farmstead was still small but ready to explode. Loved hanging out in the old small space on a Friday night with a small crowd tasting a Riwaka forward IPA. BTW, where can I find a Riwaka IPA these days? That hop is the Holy Grail for me. Anyhow. props to Four Quarters. Keeping it real!

If you're in the Burlington neighborhood for Foam, make sure you stop by this place. I felt instantly comfortable when I went inside. I was also able to get 2oz pours which I like so I can sample more of their beer. There were about a dozen on-tap and a good selection to take home. They also have a good variety in their beer, not just DIPA's and stouts. Check it out!

Interesting little joint. Arrived on a Friday afternoon at open, folks were warm and inviting. There was music being played using the old school record player. Not too loud, enough to allow people to talk. Tasting bar was nice, the server let us get a couple of small tastes of things before we started doing bigger pours. When it was time to buy beer to go, the service was great and the prices were reasonable. They had about 8 of their beers available in cans, and some others for growlers. All in all a really nice experience.

Stopped in to say hi and was amazed by their beers, Justin was serving and was quite easy to deal with. I had 3 beers - Herbie, Gerard and the Barrel aged Morning Star (which was my favorite of the 3), I'm not one to drink BA stouts this time of year, but that beer was totally legit. It looked like the place used to be a garage as there was a garage door at the front o the building and then there were a ton of all sorts of equipment laying around in that area - it didn't bother me, just told me that Brian the head brewer keeps extra equipment on stand by, I get that (always gotta be prepared). Nice looking picnic tables were outside. Also, noticed that there were some barrels off to the right that looked like he was aging some beers - pretty cool to me and I can't wait to go back. Too bad they don't have better hours as I would be back more often.

Brian knows his beer and is devoted to his craft. I have a lot of respect for this nano-turned-macro brewery. If you are doing the brewery tour in Burlington -- this is a must visit. Afterwards, I would swing by Mule Bar (who are friends with Brian) and grab a bite to eat.

Four Quarters also has made beers for some of the local watering holes including Waterworks and Mule Bar. It's very community oriented and a great place to have a beer after work.

Located in an industrial block in Winooski, a very funky suburb of Burlington, Four Quarters is a one room tasting room, cramped and dark, with a small bar and a scattering of chairs. Surrounded by a myriad of hipster paraphernalia - and accompanied by jazz on vinyl records, the patron feels like there are drinking homebrew in a friend's basement. Friendly service and thirsty locals add to the vibe. Very small brewery with unreliable hours and outdated website (check Facebook).

this place is pretty neat, somewhat different than the usual taproom. very small operation in a very small space. they have a cool outside area with a few picnic tables and a small stage, and inside they have a tiny bar with only a few seats and a lot of neat art. just a handful of beers on tap to pick from, i think the small system and the popularity means the beers run out fairly frequently, although the three we had here were all pretty interesting and tasty. they had a fantastic smoked chocolate brown, and also a tomato basil edition of their saison, which i have never seen before in a beer. they were more creative than good though i thought, but perhaps it was just our selection of one offs instead of their staples. the vibe is great in here though, real mellow, cool vinyl spinning, dog friendly, i definitely see the appeal. not much to comment on in terms of service, the dude was busy and hurried, seems stressed, but poured the beers up no problem. overall this is well worth a visit, and a nice edition to the burgeoning vermont brewery scene. i expect big things from these guys in the near future.

Brian, the brewer, is an awesome dude and the mad scientist of craft beers. This dude will try anything and it almost always works! Beers are awesome, and the brewery is a great place to hang out and have a beer, or 3.

This is a cool little spot in Winooski.
Super friendly staff, mellow vibe just very tiny.
Decent vinyl selection and good tunes. Doubt they stay in this spot for long given their quality.

The feel is exactly what I like. I feel like I should be working on a bike, drinking delicious beer. Located in a garage type environment, picnic tables outside, and funky music and art to set the mood...
Brian is an awesome guy and makes incredible beer. The service was always genuine. The beers were incredible. This breweries sours are second to none.
The other beers are up there too. There's nothing mediocre about any of this operation and four quarters is the future.
the fact they give back to the local farms and support farmers also... It just goes a long way in my book. Definitely highly recommended.

This is a cool place in Winooksi. The nitro cold roast coffee is an interesting compliment to the beer. When I visited there weren't bottles to go bit this has changed as they have become more mature. I need to go back and will update my review when I do.

Some of the most exciting beers to come out of Vermont...and the entire Northeast! Keep an eye on this brewery, which serves up stellar beer in an amazing taproom.

Stopped here summer of 2014. Great place to stop at especially if your at the beverage warehouse right up the street. Cool little garage type set up. Guy working was super cool and spinning some vinyl which added an awesome vibe. Definitely stopping back buy soon!

Stopped in while visiting the area on Friday afternoon. Small little brewery with great people and great beers. They offer samples of all there beers for $5 which is fair and then full pours for $5 as well. They had 4 beers available which were all session beers and all full of flavor. They offer an old style of beer call a Patiersbeir with a little twist in each offering. Definitely a cool place to check out and I definitely recommend getting their beers when you can. Cheers!

Great place to sample beer and hangout. The staff could not be nicer and the beer is pretty damn tasty especially the Fleur des Lis. Normally growlers and swag, but I lucked out on a bottle release day and got 750ml of Fleur des Lis.

Check thier website for hours.

This brewery has the typical Winooski vibe going on.

I just happened to notice this place online during my last trip to VT. Situated on a very unassuming back road in Winooski, in a little warehouse directly adjacent to a bike shop, sits this new little brewery. Inside, it looks like a overly-zealous homebrewers garage, with all kinds of brewing paraphernalia and loaded carboys everywhere. But there is a little bar right in the center, and one of the owners (or perhaps the only owner?) was there serving beers. I got there right at opening time, and apparently beat the guy there. haha But it wasn't long before about 10 people came in and out.

There were only 3 beers on tap, but talking to the owner, it seems like he's already gone through a few others, and he seems to have some good ideas for the future, including some brews that are already aging in barrels. The beers I had were decent, nothing really blew me away...there's room for improvement, but they were good for a start.

No food here, obviously (unless you count jars of honey), but there is some merch available. Growler fills and sampler flights are pretty inexpensive.

It's not much yet, but I have a feeling this will be a place to keep on your radar.
