Taste: big hopped bite, dry finish. Floral hopped nose. Gold hue, clear, with a lacy head ans webbed lattice. Medium body. Bitter hops are closer to an Imperial IPA. 79 IBUs

Draft pint at Big Bricks. Lightly hazed orange, scalloped lacing around the edges, lasting foam. Looks nice.
Candied orange aroma, slightly resinous.
Tastes the same, candied orange slices, herbal resinous greens. Light to medium bodied, pretty easy drinking, finishes dry. Overall this is a solid IPA, better than the other Empirical beers i've had.

On-draught @ the brewpub. $5.50 per pint.
6.70% ABV.
A: Murky and unfiltered. Pulpy pale copper colour.
SM: Citrusy, hitting flavours of orange and onion. Reticent but enticing. Pleasant and inviting. Aromatic intensity is average.
T: Matches the aroma, tending a bit imbalanced with its overdone bitterness. It's fine... nothing wrong with it, nothing amazing about it.
Mf: Smooth, wet, coating, overcarbonated, slightly oily.
O: Drinkable enjoyable mediocrity. I'm not sure why locals are going crazy over it, but it's fair for what it is. I struggle to understand who would pick this over better priced brews from the likes of Lagunitas, Deschutes, or the like, but it's decent.
