Poured from an undated bottle into the test glass This is the Citra- Mosaic version
A - Honey colored backdrop, carbonation unleashed twist aggressively top side, towering cap of white froth rises above the glass line, then recedes onto itself.
S - Tangerines, spring orchard blossoms, musty hay stacks, add a bit of melon rime, biscuit with honey drizzle and that Brett snap
T - Start in the tropics, with fresh pineapple, some mango and warm melon, then warm sourdough toast with apricot marmalade, followed by that bit of Brett funk adding a touch of fermented flavor
M - Delicate on the palate, almost fluffy, the carbonation rocks through without being a prick about it, Semi sweet start with all that tropical fruit , then a quick shift to the ever so slightly tart side. The linger is forever and quite well balanced.
O - A real treat, this offering displays the talented brewers deft use of Brett, a beautiful pale ale, perfectly hopped.
The malt base , hop schedule and choice of Citra - Mosaic all combine to a beautiful offering

Pours cloudy gold/yellow body with big head (even with a gentle pour) that sticks around for a while.

Smells of tropical fruit and funk, taste is similar but with a big kick of melon.

Feel is light to medium and pretty crisp, seems to dry out quickly but there's just a touch of lasting stickiness.

Overall it's a really refreshing beer and could easily be sessions if you're into Bret.

500 ml bottle into a tulip glass. Says (Galaxy-Amarillo) on the label, don't know if there are other versions.

Pours a bright, hazy yellow, with a two- plus finger head on an average pour, lots of thick, foamy lacing. Smell is citrus- pineapple, grapefruit, orange, some melon- and floral hop aromas, Brett, light funk, yeast, a little malt, light mint. Taste also starts with the citrus hops- grapefruit, pineapple, mango, lemon, some melon. Also Brett, yeast, it's lightly tart and sour. Some hop bitterness up front, a little more on the finish. Smooth, semi- dry, refreshing, a bit of a fuller body for the style, well carbonated.

A well crafted beer, with a really nice flavor. The Galaxy and Amarillo hops play off each other nicely. The Brett is complimentary to the hops, not a headliner. Certainly worth a purchase.

500ml bottle. Served in a stemmed glass.

Pours a hazy light orange-straw yellow body, two finger thick white head, appropriate retention, bits of lacing, medium film and collar. Smells of grapefruit, moderate lemon and citrus zest, a bit of leather and earth, mild cereal grain sweetness. This is mostly a citrusy hop aroma, presumably from the Amarillo and Galaxy hop additions, more so the Amarillo. Flavour is clean moderate lemon, moderate citrus rind bitterness, light cereal grain sweetness, a minimal touch of toasted malt. Plenty of flavor up in this one, good balance of Brett and hops. Mouthfeel is appropriately lighter bodied for a Brett beer, good carbonation, bitter citrus zest on the finish that lingers for a while. A very solid, tasty brett pale ale with a good hop bite that seems to complement the Brett character.

Submitted an update that this beer is still being brewed. Hazy, bright yellow with lingering laciness on the glass. Smelled of hops, not overpowering, pleasant sour odor. A taste of hops with a delicate sourness - Galaxy and Amarillo hops. Light carbonation, a very drinkable summer beer.

This beer pour a hazy apricot body with a microcarbonation supporting a thin film of snow white foam. The green citrus hops are mellow and toward the grassy side in the nose. The green unripe citrus in the taste takes on some grapefruit pith character as it opens. The finish taste has a hop spice character with some dry Brett grapefruit pith notes. There is a male malt flavor that supports underneath.

This is a nice pale ale with good hop character. I'm not sure if the grapefruit pith is from hops or brett but it is complimentary to the other flavors.

Tropical fruit and funky Brett. The Brett character is fully developed and projects pineapple on the nose with the complimentary hops. The hop flavor and Brett come together for a quenching and flavorful experience. Very bright and crisp. Pineapple and tangerine are predominant flavors.

Murky opaque orange, copious foam that sticks to the glass in chunky lace patterns. Lasting surface foam, becomes clustered to one side and eventually breaks apart.

Aroma is somewhat dull, dried citrus peel and pale malt belie a minor Brett yeast presence that just isn't very expressive.

Taste is pleasant, light citrus peel and pith, some drying hop bitterness though not as expressive as you'd think with Citra and Amarillo in the mix. Falls a bit flat. Crisp and dry feel, flash of effervescence at first carries it along. Bone dry finish.

Overall it's not bad, but like most of Transient's output to date it just feels underdeveloped.
