Features lactose and honey; 7/19/18 can release... Dark brown pour with a rubied translucency and a coupla fingers of pale tan foam on top... Malts produce sweet brown bread and molasses with an orangey citrus underpinning; a honeyed sweetness rounds the edges... Medium-light feel, moderate carbonation; moderately sweet, very mild bitterness... A decent ale, overall kinda like brown molasses bread with orange peel and honey, with a vaguely milky taste/feel - all of which I suppose was the idea, even if its not necessarily my taste in beer these days...

Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a dark amber close to brown color with a finger and a half’s worth of white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Light lingering lace. The aroma had some mocha, milk chocolate, slight coffee with a little bit of honey sweetness. Light toast. The flavor pulled in the prior mentioned aromas to create a decent rich sweet aftertaste. Finish was a creamy sweetness. The feel was closer to light bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Some carbonation. ABV was there. Overall, aromas and flavors were there, but the body seemed like it could have been "beefed" up a bit more.

Pours a very slightly cloudy medium brown with a large off-white head that left blotches of lacing. Smells of sweet malts. Tastes of malts, a slight nuttiness, lactose, caramel and some floral notes on the finish. Medium bodied and carbonation, smooth mouth feel, crisp. A very easy drinking beer.

A burgundy amber pour with a white frothy head. Slight malts on the nose. A very malty start upfront with a hit of sweetness and lactose on the finish. Pretty lean drinking with good flavor tones of caramel, toffee, bread, and honey. The mouth feel is on the lighter side but it holds up well. The lactose seems to round out all the malt and add a creamy feel to it all.

Overall, decent stuff.

A: The beer is hazy dark brown in color. It poured with a half finger high beige head that died down, leaving wispy lacing on the surface, a collar around the edge of the glass, and some lacing down the sides.
S: Light to moderate aromas of nutty malts are present in the nose along with slight hints of lactose.
T: The taste generally follows the smell, except that notes of honey and floral hops are noticeable towards the back end of the finish. A light amount of bitterness is noticeable. Some roasted malts are also perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and rather smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is interesting in that it tastes like a hybrid between a brown ale and a milk stout. I found it to be quite flavorful and interesting compared to other beers in the style.
