Don’t know what to make of this one, very carbonated, somewhat bitter with hints of pineapple. A little bit of an after taste. Not great, but also not terrible. It’s worth giving a shot if you buy directly from the brewery.

-deep amber can pour with a slight haze and a slight pineapple aroma. This is a West Coast style DIPA with orange and pine flavors and moderate hop bitterness. The bitterness persists in the finish. The can-art is amusing too. I

Poured from a 16oz can into a speiglau IPA glass.
Look is a hazy orange amber with a thick eggshell white.
Aroma is boozy orange.
Taste is more of that boozy orange with a slight pucker at the end.

On the same island as me, but not necessarily close - about 2 hours east of me? Features Comet and Mosaic hops. I love me some Mosaic hops, but Comet? I would assume I've had a beer that used them, but I have no frame of reference for the profile. No canning date, but presumably fresh. Dark gold color, not quite clear; produced a full head that left lots of messy lace behind and a cap that persisted to the finish. Has a dark-fleshed fruit profile on the nose and tongue - suggestive of mango and orange, with a little lemon zest and something herbal around the edges. Medium-bodied, well-carbonated, not quite clean-finishing - has something of a tacky aftertaste. Good, but unexceptional.

Out of a 16 ounce can into a snifter, no date but judging from the flavour it seems fresh enough. This is a DIPA with comet and mosaic hops.
A - can see through only enough to see something moving on the other side of the glass
S - candied citrus fruits, grapefruit, peaches, melon and tangerines but mostly papaya
T - follows the aroma, the taste is dominated by papaya and melon up front along with orange and grapefruit rind, finishes with a strong citrus and dank bitterness, slightly dry. No alcohol on the finish.
F - average, less than medium
O - A delicious papaya bomb!

A very good DIPA, from a pint can released two days ago. Pours clear gold with a fine white head, good lacing. Pine, resin, earthy hops. Not boozy at all, sneaks up on you. Certainly worth trying. Probably the best Moustache beer I have tried.
