Found a can dated 1/15/21 and decided to give it a try. Surprising to see a hazy IPA at 5.4 ABV. It is pretty smooth to drink like a session ipa. Cute name and some citrus notes and scent. I don’t taste the coconut and I’m not sure what makes it a winter IPA. Anyway, it is easy going down and I like to support the local Philadelphia brewers. Slight pepper aftertaste

Look: Very hazy, pale orange-yellow with floating material. Rapidly disappearing head.
Smell: Coconut, mango, orange. Juicy tropical fruit. Hints of caramel and butterscotch. Some kind of floral aroma.
Taste: Mostly orange and grapefruit mixed with mango and coconut. Some other tropical taste I can't quite describe, maybe guava? The fruit sweetness is well-balanced with some peppery, spicy hop bitterness.
Feel: Round and lightly fizzy.
Overall: Pleasantly juicy and balanced. I'm not normally a fan of coconut, but in this beer there's just enough of it to make it interesting. This beer is worth checking out.

Look: It pours cloudy yellow-orange with a white head. Head retention is good.
Smell: It has pine aromas with tropical fruits, spice, and coconut.
Taste: It has tropical fruit and spice flavor with some pine and coconut. There is a doughy wheat element to it as well. The pine becomes a little stronger in the aftertaste.
Feel: It has a medium body with moderate bitterness.
Overall, an easy drinking and flavorful IPA.

Conshohocken Brewing Co. "2 Hour Delay"
1 Pint can coded "CANNED ON 11/06/19 11:09"
$3.49 @ Roger Wilco, Pennsauken, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: Well I like the name! The label also lists Sabro, Bravo, and El Dorado as hops. I'm not even sure if I've ever heard of Sabro. Oh wait, I have, it's the kind of semi-Mexican hop that was just found growing wild, or something like that. I've had a few beers that have been brewed with it but I've never seen them myself. Onward, it's poured a cloudy gold & orange body beneath a tall head of fluffy white foam. The aroma is quite unusual. The first thing I thought of was coconut, but then I couldn't find it again as it was covered up by a tropical fruit that I just couldn't place, and some strong floral notes. Am I confusing a tropical fruit and actually thinking of piña colada? That may be; it's got a kind of a candy-ish aroma. And what's that floral note? I think it's Asiatic Lily. Anyway, it's unique. I'd say weird but unique sounds more professional ;). What I'm not finding is wheaty malt or any yeast characteristics. On to the taste... well the hops remain, and they're even stronger than they were in the aroma, but it's not candyish at all as there's a solid bitterness that stamps all over whatever sweetness there is from the malt. It's there, it's just beaten down. Oddly, there is a note of coconut that emerges in the finish that seems a little sweet at that point. It's much more fruity upfront as well (tangerine, apricot, peach), and then there's a kind of curve-ball thrown in, maybe I just missed it in the aroma, but it's earthy and woody. This reminds me a little of Sorachi Ace. It's got the coconut, and there's some citrus, but there are these specific notes that up until now I've only gotten from Sorachi Ace which are dill, cedar, and spearmint. At this point maybe I will switch back to calling it weird! Somehow it all comes together though. It's like slipping on the stairs and you slide down all bumpity-bumpity but then you somehow land upright on your feet. I don't want to forget that floral note though, at points it comes on strong and it's like drinking a flower. Very weird. What did I miss? Mouthfeel and head retention/lacing. The head held fairly well and it's left some nice lacing behind. In the mouth it's medium bodied and crisp. So what to say? This one is definitely up to personal taste. It's well made, and I have to give it lots of credit for originality. Give it a try.
